My husband just retired from law enforcement. Every time I prayed for his safety I believed that God was greater than the bullet proof vest he wore or the gun he carried. I never put my trust in those things.

Wow! I love knowing that there is a prayer group over your services, during them. Our church is about a 40 minute drive. We started there because our neighbors invited our kids to AWANA there and after a couple of years the regular church we'd been attending (also a long drive) seemed so focused on new members that they would disregard the current. Long story. Anyway, I love our church. We began attending on Sundays and soon I became a helper with the AWANA leaders. It was a couple of years later when I learned that - yes - during our AWANA nights, there were a group of grandparent aged church members praying for all of us during our time. That absolutely blew my mind. I felt so loved by God knowing that!

I should add, there are fruits that result! I was always impressed early on with our AWANA program, that for such a tiny farm town, when we had visited on parents night, how many kids! Packed full. And the volunteer adults, from early 20's up to 70's or probably older. It honestly made me want to be a part of it. Turns out, they have always done this, that prayer group over the active group. And God has his way with it ❤

Not related with the preaching, but I hope you film a Church tour 😅, I’m curious on how it looks like. I’m from Philippines and I don’t think that I would be able to visit Canada, I just got curious when pastor Paul says about the room. Hehe. Praying for your church, pastor Paul and your family. ☺️ GOD BLESS!
