Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way” The gentleman playing the Kobyz is master Olzhas Qurmanbeck, the best player in Kazakhstan 🎻🔝 The Kobyz is the first stringed instrument ever. Kobyz is an ancient tool of the Kazakh people. It was used in ancient times by steppe shamans-healers for various rites. Kobyzy is made from a single piece of wood. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. The open body and strings of the kobyz from a bunch of 30-60 untwisted horse hair give a very thick, overtone-rich timbre.

Dimash's signature song is SOS d'Un Terrien En Détresse, which is always worth a listen. The prime versions are the earliest one from the Chinese Singer competition in 2017 where he won the hearts of billions of Chinese people, and the latest and most elaborate one from the Dimash Digital Show 2021. Another great song is Sinful Passion where he uses his many vocal colors for the sake of interpretation rather than showing off (like here). Maybe you can also enjoy his acting in music videos like Be With Me and The Story Of One Sky.

Dimash gained worldwide fame in 2017 after performing in the Chinese TV show "I'm Singer" where he received second place, and that only because it is a Chinese show and it is difficult to give the first place to a foreign guest. Sono un musicista professionista italiano, brava, ottima analisi, quando ho iniziato il Conservatorio di Basso Elettrico ramo Pop Rock blues poichè in Italia si possono studiare anche strumenti non classici il mio Professore di teoria mi parlava molto di Igor Krutoy che è il suo compositore eccellente ed è al pianoforte, poi ho frequentato l' Accademia CPM (Centro Professione Musica) quando ho perfezionato i vari stili e nel 2015 circa ho scoperto Dimash a 18 anni che cantava al Slavic Bazar la cover SOS e da allora non mi sono mai perso un suo brano, lui cambia stile ogni brano che canta addiritturai l sui brani SMOKE e SCREENING hanno lo stile di Michael Jackson, è un arista molto versatile, io adoro i Bon Jovi anche perché in 2 Runaway Tour ho suonato con Jon, ma desidererei essere in orchestra con Dimash

Thank you. Loved your observations and comments on Dimash. You might be very interested in Dimash's performance of 'Stranger' for the Shine Super Bro.s in China. The middle section is completely different and it is like nothing that you have ever heard of before! Take a listen it is mind blowing. And note that he was ill with rhinitis at the time and that is why he doesn't hold that last note quite as long as in this performance. No. The listener wants to hear all of the vocal with the analytics. You showed almost nothing of the artist. Next time you do your blog or analizing give the singer all of his song. If you know so much about music you should know that when an artist releases a song they are releasing their “Baby”. This production was from Igor krutoy pianist and composer of music words from Sharon Vaughn and Dimashs friend Played the kobez a two stringed instrument and an ancient instrument by his friend and from Khazakastan. You cut these things out that mean so much to Dimash as he brings his culture into pop and opera singing. I just couldn’t respect an analysis that would chop an artist work to pieces. Do it to stuff you don’t respect not to Dimash.

I've always wondered if people are watching reaction videos for analysis (fair use) or just for copyright infringement (hearing the original songs again) and this comment highlights that for many people, it's the latter. Reactions are to hear the insight and expertise of the reactor...an artist respects another artist by letting fans listen to the full music via official sources, and minimizing what they are using fairly for their analysis.

My respect towards the original artists is to ensure that their full song stays available on their own platforms, while I only use relevant sections to talk about the vocals (I also mentioned this at the start of the video).
