Dave, your capacity to love many legged critters is what makes your channel such a joy. I never thought there would be a cockroach 🪳 that I would think is pretty but the color on these is truly amazing. There is a kind of beetle that is an iridescent green and blue and their wings are used in jewelry and in fact we’re once used in ladies dresses. The interesting things you can do with bugs, and when you get tired of them the spiders can enjoy a gourmet meals 😂. Lovely video again. Hello Camera Lady. See you all later this week. Take care and stay safe.

Hi Dave! You mentioned how this cockroach species primarily eats fruit, but how feeding fruit can be messy and attract fruit flies. For my cockroaches, I feed them organic fruit purée (it’s typically for toddlers or babies) in a bowl. They contain fruits, vegetables, and probiotics. I’ve noticed the cockroaches highly enjoy most of these, and that they attract less fruit flies. My Madagascar Hissing roaches love these in particular, and recently, I’ve counted over 70 new nymphs.

I lived on the island of Guam for 6 years back in the late 70s and early 80s. I had never seen a live roach before then. Unfortunately they did not endear themselves to me!! They have always given me the creeps. Now I can at least say that I have seen one that is a beautiful emerald green! Thank you Dave and Camera Lady!

Hi Dave and Camera Lady, hope you’re both doing well today. What a beautiful colour of green! Lovely metallic green on the subadult/adult females. They are a different class of Cockroach , not the aul manky dirty things 🪳🪳 That’s what makes your channel so watchable, you can even make Cockroaches interesting viewing. Can’t wait to see your next video 💙💕😍 Take care and stay safe 💙💕🕷🕷xxxx

They are a beautiful shade of green. Have you ever kept a large beetle known as a June bug in the States? I live in NY and usually see one in the summer. As a child, I was very frightened by them. I love that the green roaches enjoy fruit and the mothers keep the babies underneath them. Excellent photography, Camera Lady!

Also when you and Camera Lady were arguing over cork bark, i had a good laugh, that`s for sure! Great video Dave, until this video, i had never heard of these guys. I`ve got a video suggestion: Day in the life of Dave Fisher in the Beastie Room. Several Content Creators have done this style video, i think it would be really enjoyable to watch Dave. Another suggestion: Draw my Life. If you don`t know what that is, just search on KZbin: Draw My Life, it would be easier than me explaining it Dave. Have a good one, reply with your thughts on those suggestion mate! Much love from Ontario, Canada.
