Welbeck was part of the youth born and bred. Played his heart out every chance he got. Never had issues off the pitch. Absolute professional but we sold him because he wasnt good enough on the pitch.

Selling Rashford, Varane, Sancho and Casemiro would not only generate income and remove big salaries from United's wage bill, but it'd also - most importantly - make new signings less likely to demand a salary above any sensible, potential wage structure. Because the fewer players there are at the Club that are paid above a pay structure, the easier it'd be for the Club to insist that new signings/contracts adhere to it.

At a time when we have both Maximilian and Jonathan David with tech on top of just the pace Rashford has, both for less than 30mil each, we can even get both to replace him, somehow nothing will happen and we will find a way to mess this up, and spin that he is wanted yet Rashford’s only got pace, but wouldn’t even run for us, the club should also consider Nuno Mendes an amazing LB or others players and bundle him up with Sancho and Mount and possibly pay them, and behave like a football club. The whole team has played to his strengths for years to our own detriment, we are not a counter attacking team for a player who is neither a LW or a Striker these are the common factors of why multiple managers have failed Ratcliffe was talking about, now he has a chance to walk the talk, this sale would be more exciting than any buy it would be a statement.

The thing with Marcus is that when he was younger he had the energy and desire of mainoo currently. Always running. Always moving. Always pressing. He clearly loves the club. But he’s tried to transition from this grafting player who makes goals out of nothing to a Ronaldo-type. He isn’t that level. He’s very good.
