Operation Beautiful is about recognizing on the inner beauty in everyone, more than merely focusing on the presence or absence of makeup. The guys shown are to help encourage the girls so that they know they have support all around when they come to school fresh-faced on Friday.

This is really cool. When I was in high school (even junior high) I didn't wear make up at all, but it seemed like everyone else did. They looked so different without it because of how much they would put on!! But they were still beautiful. Now in college, people seem to care a little less, but I hope one day all girls and women will be comfortable in their own skin. Love the video :)

Monica, the video is made very clear. It is not anti looking nice on the outside. This video promotes critical thinking of students to take it to the next level. Yes you see a female and she catches your eye, but what catches the soul and the heart. That is that self love. I definitely feel the same way about being comfortable no matter what you're wearing. We don't want you to feel that it is wrong to wear makeup! I love makeup too. If you listen to what Binna said in the third clip, hopefully she makes it clear that we don't think makeup is a bad thing.

There is an incredibly negative stigma about being from Plano outside of the city that you may not yet be aware of. People have a specific image of Plano in their minds; rich, image obsessed, snobby, etc. This video perpetuates that and its sad. It shouldn't matter what a girl/woman chooses to do with their appearances.

i dont understand why make-up is such a big deal, i wear it because i like it. i know i dont have to wear it all the time, and just as comfortable with myself in sweats and messy bun as i am in high heels and totally made up. i feel like if someone wants to wear make-up they should be able to, if they like having a "cake face" let them, and if they want to go without any make-up let them. but this video makes me feel like its wrong to wear make-up and that if i do then im not confident in mysel.
