yeah you're right dude.. even in other consoles of Sony there's A lot or ribbon cables, like on PS4 Controller.. and mostly the common problems of the Deffective ps4 controller are the ribbon cables..

​​​@@raitronicsThis video helped tremendously. Had to order some new parts because there was some that had adhesive on them (I did a deeper disassembly). As for the rear touchpad I just ordered a new one off aliexpress with the adhesive ready on it, because I would've needed to take a heat gun to it to get it off. That method can get very annoying and can likely damage it, so I left it on that original back shell piece. Working on the 2000 model Vita isn't too difficult at all, Sony designed it well mostly. What really sucks is getting that small touchpad ribbon cable back in.

I had the same problemmmm just then, spent half an hour trying to do it. I figured the two tabs on the side of the ribbon cable were for something by accident and kind of used the tweezer to push the cable into its spot rather then pull it

it's possible that the speaker of your PS Vita is having an Distorted sounds, that's also a common problem of the PS VITA slim. the only solutions for that is to replace the speaker whether the Left Or the Right Speaker,

hello bro. this only a DISASSEMBLY Guides ☺️ not a Repair or troubleshooting guides.. well if The problem of your psvita is The microphone? i think. the solution is either replacement or you may need a diagram to trace the lines of the microphone layout on the motherboard.. very risky.. but you can use a Cellphone earphones with a microphone for alternatives.. ☺️

No there's no difference between Left and Right Analog stick.. so whether the Problem is Left or the Right analog stick.. it is the same.. So you can Buy an analog stick without Confusion. 😊

hello bro, as you've said you already replaced the lcd screen not once but twice., i could say that the problem is not on the Display Screen.. i think the problem is on the motherboard, you can check and clean the connector on the board.. use a soft toothbrush and clean the hole of the lcd socket connector on the motherboard board. then if it's the same, look for the FUSE to the motherboard, maybe the fuse on the LCD light is busted.

hello bro.. for me its not advisable to remove the front screen from the shell if you don't have any experience yet, you will need a heat gun, hot air, or hair blower to remove or separate the LCD and touch panel. it's very complicated if you don't have any experience removing it.. it can burn the screen if you over heating it.. also the rear touch panel board same procedure as the front lcd panel.

I used your video to clean and do a cooling mod to my ps vita 2001 I used mx 4 thermal paste it feels colder than normal its been an hour since I put in the thermal paste and with emulation on it it seems like it runs better

analog sticks replacements is the solutions, Unlike the analog stick of the Ps4 controller, it can repair even without replacing it.. but on vita? if analog stick is not functioning properly.. there's no other solution, "joystick replacement" is the solution.

pwede po idol, gagamit ka ng heatgun para maalis mo yung digitizer sa ibabaw or yung touch screen.. para matanggal mo yung LCD screen. naka patong po sa ibabaw ng lcd screen yung digitizer, double adhesive yung ginamit na pandikit... so kailangan po gamitan mo ng heatgun para lumambot yung pagkaka dikit ng touchscreen sa harapan.. medyo may kahirapan kung di kapa naka subok mag angat ng touch screen.

you should put first the lower parts of the back cover when putting it back, starting on the headphone jack,, shoot the headphone jack first, to the holes of the back cover.

better check it again., sometimes it's happen when the 2 connector of the speaker get pressed down when assembling the back cover, if that's happen? the connector of the speaker will not touch mother board, so it can't make connections between the board and the speakers, its located and attached at the back cover.

yes bro, unlike on Fat Models, they Put Thermal Pads. That's why most of the PSVita Fat have a GPU Crashing Issues

@@raitronics Yeah my PS Vita TV has GPU artifacting now this happened because I've played Resident Evil Revelations 2 at max overclock it may have contributed and pushed the limit of the GPU clip. Maybe it's VRAM. I've seen this happen on my PC too so I know my Vita is DOA. What's interesting is that my slim doesn't have this issue even when I overlock it. I just noticed that the Slim doesn't have thermal pad thanks for making this video. wow Sony really did fixed the shoddy chip they used for Fat and TV.
