💞 OMG IT GETS ME SO MUCH Actually i AM the only one staying in my hometown with parents. At evenings, especially now, i walkin through places when usually we meet as kids and teenegers, like a lunatic. I see phantoms of past, and i cant leave them, because that was a time when i were happier than ever. Normally these random feeds for new indie bands are lame, but not this one. 🤌🏻 Growing up in Philadelphia, there remained a halo of the Vietnam war - which Alan Parker captured with uncanny precision in “Birdie.” Aphrodite’s Child and the Canadian band Viet Cong (“Static Wall”) captured it as well. This recording radiates it from start to end. It’s a phenomenal echo of a time that never left us. 🍸
