Psychological Support Unit

We present the new Psychological Support Unit, a psychological support service for our orthognathic surgery patients and their families during this crucial stage of their lives.
Led by Rebeca García, Graduate in Psychology, this new Unit seeks to provide holistic support to our patients, adapted to each stage of their journey with us.

I remember suggesting thit idea to Petra when I had my surgery back in March 2023, so I'm happy to see it materialized. Rebeca really helped me go through the early post-op phase, as I traveled alone for the surgery and didn't have any other support. For those who have a more difficult time with the surgery, you'll be in good hands. Both of them really care about the patients and are equaly as important to the process as the surgery itself.

Es un poco duro el proceso, sobre todo la ortodoncia pre-quirúrgica donde te ves cada ves peor, comer es imposible, y no descansas porque casi no respiras bien.

@@ifyouknowyouknow6964 I dislike the term, however it fits my experience with this surgery. It has taken a heavy toll on my mental health and the surgeons have made me question my own sanity.
