I love psychological tricks like this to deescalate angry customers. Just showing them empathy, honest or not, and saying “wow that sounds like a mess, I wanna help make this right, will you let me?” And all of a sudden BAM Karen is telling me all about their life while I fix it for them. It’s taught me that a lot of Karen’s just want to talk and be heard, more than they want to attack you over bad service. Or maybe I’m just really lucky, idk

I loved sharpedo as a kid specifically because I loved sharks from the ages 8-10 and that was when I started Pokémon and I saw a shark Pokémon and was in (same thing for Empoleon but I stand by the king)

Have you ever seen that video where a person lays their hand on a table with a screen divider so they can only look at a fake hand. The person doing the experiment strokes both fake and participant's hand with a wet brush in the same way before suddenly whacking the fake hand with a hammer. This will make the participant jolt in pain because their brain believes the fake hand is their real hand
