User Interface & User Experience design plays a vital role in whether or not people will use that particular application or product. Thus, making such design decisions carefully by considering how it will be received is important. This is accomplished by tapping into the human's senses such as eyesight, touch, and hearing. In this talk, we'll be dissecting the kinds of design decisions that are being made by tech companies to make their product more appealing. Harrish is pursuing his Masters in Computer Science. He’s a fitness coach, and has a deep interest in public speaking and acting. He’s actively participated in public speaking events like Model United Nations and also takes pride in having successfully hosted several high-level events during his undergraduate. He has enthusiastically participated in both plays and musicals in national-level competitions. He currently works as a Building Manager at the Maverick Activity Center and is also a UTA Summer Orientation Ambassador, conducting several orientation sessions to incoming students representing Campus Recreation. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

This is the most useless lecture on UI/UX design I've ever watched. Like he says "look at Google and Yahoo websites. See? They are different! Ok let's move to the next point..." No explanation why they are different and what is the aim of Google showing these things and Yahoo showing that things. He won't try to continue his thoughts and present a kind of research or interesting things he discovered.

He properly explained that, " How much info you want to show and how to show. So he gave examples, that Google and yahoo have the same information, but how both they show the information. Google is neat and clean and yahoo has everything on their home page, which is not good. And because their primary function is "Search" so why to show everything on screen ?

@@thedesignguy1241 User experience is not about creating beautiful interfaces. It is about creating useful products for the users through scientific research and well planned product development. Taking in consideration business goals, market potential and target user needs. It is focusing on the humans using the product and solving their complex problems, as well as creating value for the company.
