We all know someone with psychopathy.
psychopathyis....
/ psychopathyis
But few know the truth about it. We’re helping change that… by helping you know the signs. Know about treatment options and resources. And know you’re not alone.
Lillyth Quillan was the first parent to publicly use her name and her face and say she was the mother of a child with Conduct Disorder. In 2014, she created and founded Parents of Children with Conduct Disorder (PCCD), a Facebook-based support group for parents and other caregivers of these children. Over the last six years, Lillyth has personally spoken or communicated with thousands of families. She remains as dedicated to the cause of including non-intimate partner violence in the national Domestic Violence conversation, early treatment for our children, and political action as the day she started PCCD.
Lillyth joined us on Zoom to discuss what it is like to have a child with Psychopathy.

Community is SO important. I'm so glad that this woman took the steps to foster that community knowing that there were others like her out there

I like that by sharing her story with us. This proves that a child with psychopathy can still happen even in a loving healthy home. No traumatic events to "make" her child a psychopath.

According to the video on medcircle, psychopathy is the highest level and they are born and not "made" like narcissists (first pillar) and sociopaths (second pillar). Whereas narcs and sociopaths can also be "made" in loving homes, OVERloving/smothering/weak parenting homes.

I applaud your honestly. Psychopaths are actually abusers. They actually relate to people in the negative and they do enjoy hurting people. They are different. They try to hide it but it comes out how different they are. They have no reaction. Applaud you for starting this group.

Not all of them gain enjoyment from hurting people, most of them hurt others if it benefits them and simply move on instead of enjoying the suffering they inflict.

@@VON-O5 It's still best to get them out of your life. They are users and abusers and bring nothing but destruction.

I wonder if she had any other children besides this one. This is very sad, and she sounds very strong

Is your husband abusive? Cuz that stuff runs in bloodlines.. where did your kid's psychopathy come from?

If her husband was abusive I think she would have mentioned that already.

It can just happen. Certain disorders don’t need an immediate genetic ancestor to manifest. A family with no recent history of ADHD can still have ADHD children and so on
