You poor lady 😥 I know what you’re going through. Been and still going through this for 37years , he’s now a pathological narcissist. Please look after yourself, you will never ever change them . I speak from experience it just gets worse the older they get . They have absolutely no empathy and are so mean spirited. Sending you strength and a huge hug 🤗 🙏

I had to give up my job and I’m a single parent of a kid like this and when I ask for help people don’t understand and they blame me. My son belongs in an institution but the school and child protective services don’t want to pay for it even though they have partial custody of him he is home with me and my daughter and has a severe video gaming addiction. When I try to stop him he hurts me and I call the police which is a waste of time and this is getting very stressful and lonely. Everything I do I’m trapped

I had a close friend throughout my childhood who was probably a psychopath. He had an obsession with knives and used to angrily slice at flowers and shrubs. He put a knife to his mother's throat and went to some special boarding school for troubled kids from roughly age 13 to 18. It did turn him around, amazingly. He told me the older kids would simply beat up the younger kids until they behaved and stopped thinking they didn't have to listen to anybody, and that staff were complicit in this. Very strange brew, that place, but we're almost 40 now and he has a very good life.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. Sounds like you managed to separate your value from the results. I think that is important to do. You are not your child, you are not family. May you be bigger and stronger than your battle.

This doesn't mention the signs to look for and how to confirm the diagnosis. Also age out means? And is she implying people become psychopaths (which might be an antiquated term) or that they are born that way?

Her child was unusually calm and uninfluenced by negative restrictions from 6 months old. He didvonly what he wanted and had huge rage while growing. Tried to kill her in her sleep constantky. Very deceiving and lying. Psychopaths in childhood are very dangerous and basically uncontrollable by legal methods. And usually parents are blamed by society.

This is done to establish a pattern of dysfunctional behaviour or in legal terms; a course of conduct. Diarising can also help to identify what / who might be triggering the adolescent/ adult child ...

My SIL is a antisocial / borderline/ sociopath and my bro is psychopath. their son 8 yo - my nephew - sometimes shows the clear signs of HSP and sometimes denies the reality. Lies too. Can a child be both - an HSP + psychopathy)??? My mom was a psychopath and my dad was an empath/HSP. I'm an HSP and my other bro is an HSP/empath - but he has learnt behaviour of narcs a bit - his all boys are hsp of various degree though his wife is a psychopath/vulnerable narc too. My paternal side - Highly Empathetic. my maternal side - all are highly sweet psychopaths

Unfortunately as a society that will just make the kids worse. But these poor parents do need help, a break, assistance, and aids that specialize in this to support them and help the child with conduct disorder become their very best version of themselves. Because this is a societal problem, the parents can't do it all, and won't be the only ones to pay for any missteps.

@@happybergner9832 it has nothing to do with what they do or don’t have. There are psychopaths in 3rd world countries. They get less help and do more harm. Lacking the ability to feel empathy in the brain is not fixed by “teaching them” it can’t be fixed. Intensive therapy can help them learn to logically think through things maybe but they will never be “fixed” .

when I was a kid there was no help for us. We learned to mimic peoples faces reactions. No therapists no help. Beatings didn't work just try to stay out of prison. Put on human skin and go on. To @happybergner9832 you are a waste of air. Talk about meat bag. Can't even use your own name. I know we are born like this and will die the same. My father was like me, but my mom was afraid. It is hard I've been told to be parent of a psychopath. I really do care I have no empathy ,but intellectually I can reason that.

I dont wanna sound disrespectful but i have to say that she is biased, and putting any kid with psychopathy in the same boat, Just because her kid was so difficult. Also, judging by how she speaks about her Child, the experiences she has had and his behaviour in general, seems. To like its more of a case of conduct disorder, maybe with traits of ASPD? But real psychopathy is much different. And that is dissapointing since the video is coming from a channel about Psychopathy
@_Kyprioth_

Her child absolutely is a psychopath. They are now an adult and their diagnosis has been confirmed by many psychologists and neurologists. The woman speaking in this video is actually the founder of both this channel and the support group associated with it.
