I could never thank you enough for explaining this to me. I was going through all of the above after 15 years of THC use and thought it was just me being weak and that I was different from everyone else like I could not relate to them. I was forgetting things at work making me look dumb, I could not hold a conversation, every moment of silence was awkward, and worst of all I was always depressed and having suicidal thoughts. I quit 5 days ago. I already feel immensely better. Looking at weed now I just see how much I lost.

You're a smart man and very correct. Never smoked pot but for like a year I was shredding 50mg nic disposables and pounding redbulls and 5 hour energys. Went into a bad derealization episode that lasted 6 months finally rid of it. Now i rarely drink caffeine and quit vaping. Still dealing with the anxiety that resulted from the derealization but I'm well now. You're right though.

hi ! idk if you’ll see this but every time i get high i get super bad deja vu and start to think something really bad is going to happen , then my heart starts beating really quickly and i always end up having a panic attack . and every now and then i get deja vu for like 5 minutes or so and it happens and couple times a week . idk what’s happening but i was just wondering if anyone knew what this was ?

Sounds like anxiety just cause of how powerful the weed is, I’ve never heard of weed induced deja vu tho. You’re probably more spiritual than most

Hello dr frank My name is Devin I’m 26 from Canada, I love watching you’re videos they really help me out a lot. I just have a question to ask you…I quit smoking weed and cigarettes 30 days ago, but 15 days ago I started feeling weird. I am constantly ruminating about that day and trying to pinpoint what happened and why I started feeling weird. I am feeling either anxiety and OCD, depersonalization/brain fog and I’m a month sober and this is still going on and wondering if this is normal. I have been fighting this everyday now and wanted to reach out to see if you could give me any advice. This feeling is so horrible to the point I am scared I’m going to relapse:( Let me know what you think about this.

Smoked alot of weed in my late teens. Fast forward and im 42 having these issues, and i quit back in 2002 or so. People just dont understand that weed may be mild in comparison to other drugs, but it isnt "harmless" as so many try to say.

Your right about the endocannoboniod not getting the cannabinoids as you would from regular flower. With flower you at least have the entourage effect. I'm my opinion you shouldn't take anything from a psych Doc before you try other options and natural ways to help first. But yes counseling is good.

I’m on day 8 of quitting my ecig that I’ve smoked for 9 years since I was 14 an my brain is just so foggy an can’t concentrate on anything at all an have just slept for a full week so anxious etc. I hope it gets better but I’m not sure if I’m just permanently damaged in my brain from all the nicotine where I haven’t developed properly… I hope not but I’m looking to stick this out no matter how sick I get I’ve had enough!
