True story: At the time he was arrested, he was contracted to take care of the upkeep of some of the network printers in my office. Back in the day (we were still kinda building our network), I used to supply him with IP addresses (I was our admin). We weren't pals or anything, as our exchanges never lasted longer than a minute, but he was totally unassuming, and really just a meek/scrawny looking little dude. When we found out he was a serial killer, it completely blew our damned minds! I still can't believe I crossed paths with that horrible SoB.

Just shows you how easily evil can walk among us and blend in seamlessly. It’s only when their victims get alone with them. The “mask” the killer wears every day slips off and then they morph into a different type of animal.

Sean will forever be the “period blood” killer, to me. He tried to explain away blood in his backseat by saying that while giving a ride to one of his victims, her “period blood” flew out of the rolled down passenger window and into the backseat. Don’t y’all ladies just hate when that happens?! Who needs tampons or pads when we clearly should be using poncho’s and umbrellas?! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

@@aseygirl9295 his weirdo girlfriend/wife is the one who told the story. She also gave a tour of her kitchen, where he literally dismembered that same woman…and she still has the car. She says he always called her “honey bunny”. That woman deserves to be on her own FBI watch list. She’s like what, if I was watching a movie I’d suspend my disbelief bc I’d think nobody can possibly be that desperate or crazy…. But nope. She is out there with his murder car. Sitting in her backyard…and she re-tiled the kitchen. Pretty sure it was “Inside edition” who interviewed her…so I’m not standing behind top notch journalism…BUT…. Ain’t no faking that kinda crazy. His poetic way of describing himself and his crimes is truly obnoxious. It makes it seem like it wasn't a compulsion, but something he was doing recreationally to make himself seem more interesting to himself and others. Some are only controlling over their victims, others are in general sensitive to control. To them, disclosing any information is like handing over control to another person. Israel Keys is a good example of the latter. To have maximum control he committed suicide in jail. Smart psychopaths will try to flee a situation they think they might not be able to control, as a last restort so at least they'd have control over their self determination. It's baffling.

I'm from Baton Rouge and I remember seeing these news clips when I was a little girl. Women were terrified to go anywhere alone after dark. Even though the victims were older, my mother and neighbors would tell us to go inside if we were riding our bikes too late. Scary times at the height of the murders. People still talk about it, believing that Lee was pinned for some of the murders that Gillis committed and vice versa and that there are more women but shotty investigation and little evidence left those unsolved. *sigh* Mike I promise you if you go down the Baton Rouge area rabbit hole you'll have content for weeks.

I tend to believe her too. She's bit odd. I think he just saw from that first date that he could manipulate her fairly easily for whatever reason. People give her so much sh*t for continuing to live in that house but like... she didn't have money. I think she's got a disability maybe? Idk, she was working part time at a convenience store at some point tho. But that house was paid for. I don't really blame her. Also, some people just aren't going to be bothered by the history of a specific place in that way. Like if you ask me vs my bff if we'd accept a free house that's in decent shape and in a good location but someone died or was killed there... my bff wouldn't go anywhere near that house, but I'd take it in a heartbeat.

Dennis Rader (BTK) married in '71 and lived his secret serial killer life undetected by any family member for over thirty years. One guy lived his life in Israel, married a Jewish woman who had survived the Holocaust. They were married for over fifty years. Terri, Sean’s Girlfriend, gives me the creeps! I’ve watched a few interviews she gave after he was caught. She kept the car that Sean used to kill/transport victims in. She gave a tour of the home they shared and gave special attention to the kitchen floor on which he’d dismembered at least one victim on. Her demeanor in the interviews was really odd and she talked about how Sean called her “hunny bunny”. I can’t even begin to imagine how messed up anyone would be, mentally, after discovering that someone you loved was a serial killer…but I think something was WAY off with her long before she even met Sean. The woman is scary.

To be fair, it was probably the people interviewing her putting the focus on the kitchen floor and things like that. I think she just didn't know what to do or feel like she had other options. She was on disability I think? Living in a paid for house. They dropped the car back off there and she just kind of left it in the backyard to rot (would have cost money to get rid of it). She just doesn't seem fully mentally there in one way or another. Which is something that would make it easier for someone like SVG to manipulate her. So that makes sense in my mind. Also, some people just aren't bothered by the history of a place. Especially when it comes to basic needs like housing. Idk. Like if there's a house for sale and if it's in good shape/in my budget/in the right location, but someone got murdered there 15 years ago (not quite the same situation, I know), I wouldn't have an issue living there. On the other hand, my bff, she likely wouldn't come near the place, much less stay even a single night in it.

@@countryrat6t6 that's not one of the richest parts of the country and she *does* appear to a little "off". My assumption is that she's more than a little medicated in the aftermath (couldn't blame her if she was/is, YOU try dealing with finding out your SO is a SK) and trying to make ends meet. Can't afford to move, can't afford to get rid of the car, might as well try to squeeze a bit of juice out of those lemons. ☠️ This monster is the very definition of “Psychopath” and because he looks so bland and appears to be normal and reasonably articulate….makes him scary as hell! This is an older case which I think I’ve seen in another crime documentary, it was particularly disturbing because he did not follow the normal (I should say usual, there’s nothing normal about this evil predator) characteristics of a serial killer. His victims were of different ages, some were sex workers others were not, his victim were different races, not all were strangers etc.. he was all over the board making him harder to catch and that much scarier! In summation, I’m relieved he was caught because he was a full blown murderer addict! Addicts can’t stop until incarcerated or dead 💀 !

Okay, my theory is that the moustache was sneaking out at night when he was asleep and murdering these women. When he found out he incriminated himself to cover for the moustache because, well, who doesn't love their moustache? That's why he was so eager to confess to it all. I tell you - that moustache is out there right now, living the life of Reilly and still a threat to women, while an innocent man rots in prison.

We moved onto his street right after they arrested him. The house was still covered in crime scene tape. At the time, I figured we were safest on that street, cause what are the odds of two serial killers living on the same street. The odds turned out to be greater than I expected. I remember there was a bridge fairly close to that part of town where they had found one of the victims, and her son put beads and crosses all over it til the whole thing became like a shrine to her. It was very touching.

6:26 Nobody makes a good victim, but it really makes my blood boil when they choose helpless victims i.e. babies, children, and the elderly. 😢 Years ago, my then fiancé worked as a therapist at a physical therapy clinic. It was fairly small so we quickly became like family. The lady who owned it was very nice and caring. The apple didn't fall far from the tree as I met her mom at that year's Christmas dinner for the facility. She was a very sweet little old lady wearing one of the most beautiful fuzzy shawls I had ever seen. I asked where she had gotten it? I wanted to see if maybe I could go buy one for myself, as I loved it very much. She informed me a friend from back in Russia had made it for her, hence the beautiful handwork. We talked all through the night she even let me wear it when I got chilly. About a month or 2 later he came home with a box and said her mom had sent this for me. Confused, I opened it and much to my surprise, there was a shawl just as beautiful as hers. I cherished it, she had asked her friend back home to make me one! ❤ So about a year goes by and he calls me from work crying saying they are rushing her to the hospital it was first thing in the morning. I thought she was old maybe a heart attack or stroke...but no, much worse. A man had broke into her beachfront home in Ponte Vedra Florida and proceded to beat and r*pe her, not only physically but with kitchen/grilling utensils as well. I get sick just thinking about it. I was about 4'8" and 85 lbs soaking wet and she was smaller than me. This guy was huge. As a victim of r*pe myself, I can only imagine the sheer pain and terror she was in. She did survive but what animal does this to another human being? I'd love to run into him in a dark alley with my best friend. Love you too Mike! ❤

@@FrostRarewell it’s a difficult balance where you don’t want to stroke his ego but want to find out the inner workings of a killers mind, where you need to find that information out and what shaped him in life such as childhood, trauma as an adult, how he was treated by society, or if it’s mental illness telling him he’s doing “gods work”, or if it’s a deep hatred for women. Finding all of that out is important but man, it’s a hard balance to find all of that out and not stroke his ego where he feels like he’s reliving the horrific crimes he committed (especially if he gets gratification talking about them).
