I don't understand. A journal is usually a place to write and work through our thoughts, our lives and to find meaning. Why would I treat my journal as another commodity, just a commercialized book of buy, buy, buy more? Should absolutely every area of life be invaded by business and advertising? Is it a European thing? It's horrific.

@@Retsie Hi! The whole idea about this journal is to make it from recycled materials only, in this case advertising catalogs. I wanted to show how to make a journal from nothing, without buying expensive papers and materials. I go through all the steps in 7 episodes. In the end it is completely transformed. I still have it and I love it very much 😊
