@arivanbroekhoven52094 жыл бұрын
to decrease/prevent noise, you could use a foam/rubber ring in between the back plate of the pedals and the back ring on the pedal rod

Good review these are truly awesome pedals and the feedback back from the pedal is best I've used plus Chris is really helpful and quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns about them. I received my pedals in June I was £600 for what you received including UK customs charge but price will be subject to exchange rates.

@GamerMuscleVideos8 жыл бұрын
Club sport V3's are meant to be quite good I think these pedals are in a different category though, will probably come down to availability and price after postage for most people as to which they went for :)
@beneath_the_woods8 жыл бұрын
Instead of buying the V3's and upgrading maybe 2 years later I think it's a good idea to save some cash and go straight for some pro pedals. It's cheaper in the long run. If you can survive the wrath of your significant other.

ima very un happy owner of the v3s,ive gone back to my modded dfgt pedals,even with the eladur mod they are just not worth the money over the dfgt pedals,the brake feels like a potentiometer based brake and you have to treat it lke such. i wish id have saved a bit more and bought these

Great review, i do have these pedals since last march and using them almost 6 days out of seven and they hold up really good. they are build like a tank. Love them a lot. The only thing i had to do is put a little bit a grease when they started to squeak.
@TheThumbsUpChannel5 жыл бұрын
Can you do a video on budget pedals because I caught a t300rs and the pedals that came with it have like 50% dead zone and every time I want to use them I have to take the whole pedal apart manually move sensors and screw it all back together while it’s still on and every time I turn it off I have to redo it.

They are not very breathable I just got them as a cheapo shoes to use for simracing :) as they happend to be narrow ish and have a relatively thin bottem to them, though im sure proper go kart race shoes would be "better". www.shoezone.com/Products/Mercury-Mens-White-Slip-On-Trainer-80308

Potentiometers aren't good idea, I have the pt1 pedals and the clutch pedal just keeps causing the pedals to disconnect every time I use the clutch. Now i have to order new potentiometer. No way I'm spending another $220 aud for postage to send them back and get them fixed.
@GamerMuscleVideos5 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a weard issue , there is nothing inherlty bad about pots , often they last 4+ years of heavy use without needing cleaning. If the clutch is causing your pedals to DC it's probably a controller board issue rather than an issue with just a pot.

Nice vid. Without the plate could you separate the gas and brake pedal. They look a bit cramped..

sure they are all separate units. even on the plate you can move them around more. or swap over the plate faces ore move the pedal faces.

Derek Wildash No, Premium sim racing equipement costs money, alot of money. An osw alone is more than 250 let alone a 'top of the line' pedal set.

Good luck racing it for thee next 5+ years and then taking it to all the tracks around the world and then racing it in a competitive environment. The reason people get sim kit is that though it's really not like the real thing it lets you train real world skills , brake points brake modulation race craft and in cars that would cost £500 - 5+k a day to run.
@benfennell68426 жыл бұрын
GamerMuscleVideos I see where the appeal is for that sort of thing and it is cool I love sim racing but the really high end stuff gets a big too expensive for my tastes, I know I'll have more fun at the end of the day on a cheap motorcycle in the mud with friends, but in the long run an expensive sim setup can be awesome too, it's just that if I spend £500 on 3 pedals (as nice as they might be) it's always going to be in the back of my head that I literally could've bought an entire motorcycle for that cash. But it makes sense I guess, niche items will always be expensive and mass produced tried and tested every day tech will always be cheap. I guess what it comes down to is how dedicated you are to the niche of sin racing, I'm fine with my g27 personally I don't mind it not being incredibly high end but it isn't that great, I know there a world of better gear out there with so much better quality and prestige. But am I gonna she'll out the cash? Hell no. No disrespect to sim racers who do though, this hobby is awesome these people are too (mostly)
@GamerMuscleVideos6 жыл бұрын
Ben Fennell I agree what I love about SIM racing unlike real racing is you can be competitive on a G27 and learn lots of the skills that apply to the real world. The high end kit is mostly for direct training or if you like highly customisable kit. Or maybe if you just want something that's a bit more dun / immersive to use. I have spoken to DTM drivers that are happy with a G27 as they just like to practice the tracks and get into the zone where as others will use top end kit for physical training or refining specific skills. I have never personally had a ton of money so I really appreciate affordable things that offer the entertainment value. As for bikes they are awsome I just have a pedal bike but have used some low power dirt bikes in he past. When it comes to getting a thrill they are way better then driving for value ! ( Unless you fall off )
@benfennell68426 жыл бұрын
GamerMuscleVideos GamerMuscleVideos haven't taken my driving test yet (only 16) but have used a g27 in dirt rally and assetto Corsa for a while with most realistic settings so hopefully won't immediately crunch gears, burn out the clutch and stall? Lol I can do bikes how hard can it be right? Here's to cheap thrills man!

I just went from a thrustmaster TP3A pro to a PT-1. The cronical brake mod on the TP3A pro is genius but I just don't like the feel of the clutch and gas pedal. And I'm so happy with my PT-1purchase even it cost quite a bit more. Adjustability on the PT-1 is awesome, from super soft to super stiff and travel distance. It took me quite a long time to set it to my liking, couple days of try and error actually but man it feel so so much better then the TP3A and fanatec CS v2.

I think the postage prices come from ProtoSimtech being small and then having to use US post services, combined with the pedals waying quite a bit and also taking up a fair amount of space. Maybe if they can get bigger / produce larger runs then they will be able to get better postage deals. I agree though the postage price is a real shame as without that the pedals are some of the best value for money pedals you can get, considering they are essentially pedals for life.
@bobbobo47488 жыл бұрын
GamerMuscleVideos Well I understand that they are small but not selling to anything then US customers won´t get them bigger. :(
@GamerMuscleVideos8 жыл бұрын
bob bobo I Don't know what they can do though, I spoke to them about it because if the pedals could be delivered to Europe for say £35-£50 + VAT then Europe would get the insane value USA get from them. In the end PST don't make the money of the postage, there is a stamp on my box $126.76 That's USPS taking all that. Separate to that I think they are doing ok for sales, if anything one of the downsides for the pedals is that PST cannot keep up with demand !
@bobbobo47488 жыл бұрын
GamerMuscleVideos Cannot keeping up is only a matter of investment. Hope they get more done and start selling in Europe.
@GamerMuscleVideos8 жыл бұрын
bob bobo Thats not quite true , business management , time , quality , R&D and everything else comes into play when it comes to hard ware production. Sure you can always just throw money at things but often that has a impact on Quality and the rate at which R&D can take place. Also its a huge jump and risk for businesses to go from artisan worker to full production team. PT1 is literally a crazy guy working on them not a huge company lol. If they got bigger I'd expect the price of the pedals to jump another $100 at least as the current low price is probably due to them not having to go crazy on staff and admin costs.
