Oy mate. Well bloody done. I am an NWFA certified Advanced Installer. I've got the paper work to prove it. I'm also a soccer coach so explaining simple concepts can be difficult at times. I think you did a great job mate. I have installed borders, medallions, mixed media, you name it, etc. You just taught a 20 some year flooring veteran how to do a lvp board replacement. Mad props to you. I've usually just dealt with real hardwood but have had a need to deal with lvp in the last 2 years. Your video was clear and precise. I'll be doing this Thursday for a customer 1/12/23 . Cheers mate

Oustanding instructional video, with absolutely the best directions and information. What brought me here was that I'm planning on closing in a wide passageway with quad barn doors, and it will require drilling into the LVP of my new home for the guides. Just in case the barn doors are removed in the future, and the opening restored to its original state, I just wanted to know if the drilled planks could be replaced individually. I wasn't sure if that was possible, or if the planks were going to need to be removed from the the damage plant all the way to the wall. Great to know that it is possible to just remove a single, damage plank, and replace it.

Amazing amazing video, take all my likes and subscription, well deserved. For many reasons we wanted LVP and a contractor was trying to talk me out of it because "if even one board is damaged you have to rip everything up leading up to the board". I know there was a way and he was being a salesman. The industry is too huge for there not to be ways to repair after install. THANK YOU SIR!!

Love the fact that you’re safe and tell people if you’re not comfortable pulling the utility knife towards you then lay it down. I’m a carpenter, I install doors and windows, I’m like you were not always the safest because we’re professionals, so that’s cool that you laid out the safety options for others because many that aren’t privy to our work will follow word for word. I’m not a flooring guy is why I’m in here and I had new lvp installed and had a small spot of sub floor dry rot afterwards so I have to fix it, I know enough about carpentry to do flooring but I’m only an expert on windows, doors, fences, and seamless gutters. Nice video!

Thanks so much for the very detailed and informative demonstration. I just replaced two damaged planks and it went very well thanks to you! My only concern was with one of the end joints; with the long tang removed there is only edge to edge contact for the crazy glue. I ended up using duck tape on the underside to assist in the bonding. I must say using the Gorilla gel type crazy glue worked great. Keep up the good videos.

Great info, thank you. Will this trimming technique work on SPC core locking systems?

And will work on any of them as long as you cut off the right locking mechanism

I appreciate the instructional video. Are there any risks with cutting off three of board lock? Like it popping up in future. Also, I saw the one you removed was for scratch. Is it easier to replace board or trying to repair scratches if even possible on lvp. Thank you !

Useful video, however you may want to put a warning for eardrum shattering loud banging with the hammer and low volume voice for those with headphones.

once again the work is second to none. but the the volume being so low is about an equivalent as reading instructions in swedish

The company that did my LVP came back to do some carpet, and scratched the LVP. They notified the company and they will send someone to fix it, but I hope they do as good a job as this!

Great video, like others I was just about to tear up my kitchen floor to get to the piece that needs repair. I just put it down a month ago. There seems to be a hollow area under thos one area and caused the locking system to break. I am assuming i am going to have to fill that in with some leveling material, any thoughts on that?
