These are bloody brilliant. I always use bits of yarn as stitch markers too, it just never occurred to me to make some proper stitch markers and these are just so cute!

Thank you so much. All my future crochet videos will include using stitch markers. I can’t tell you how many messages I’ve gotten over the years asking for help because their piece of yarn fell out lol and that’s totally my fault too for leading the way. ugh I actually feel bad about that but no more losing stitch counts on my watch 😂

When you took it back to the beach, all I could think of was the part in Moana where the giant crab is singing ‘I’m so shiny’ with all the jewels and treasure all over him! 😂

OhMyGnome ! Lol I hadn’t seen it but I googled it just now and watched the scene.. I totally will hear that song every time I open up this guy now 😂❤️😂

The metal loop is called a large key chain lobster claw clasp. Smaller lobster claw clasps are closures for necklaces and bracelets. I know this is a couple months ago but I hope you see it and it’s helps:)

To bad I don't live anywhere near a beach that would have shells like that.
