Pt2:REPAINTING AND REFURBISH THE UNDERSIDE! Red Astra Gsi Turbo Z20let Opel Vauxhall Opc Holden Vxr

So its time to clean up, repaint and refurbish the underside of the opel vauxhall holden astra gsi z20let mk4 opc, this took alot of time due to the poor uk weather we have been having with lots of snow and cold temperatures the paint prep and drying was hard work. Watch and enjoy.

tip for you on future seam sealing. if you want to remove it easily use a blowtorch and scrape it off. if you want new seam sealer to look smooth you can apply it then go back over it with some thinners on your brush and it will smooth it out. as for that hammerite stone chip, if you buy the raptor stuff you can get it in the cars colour and it also is a primer so you dont have to zinc prime before putting top coat on. great work 👍🏻

I am liking the videos and the body on the astra looks amazing. I think it would be good to have some fast forward wide shots of you doing the work, and maybe some footage of the whole car every now and then etc. just to break up from all the close ups. Decent content though, your work looks great and your not leaving anything out which is mint

Need some info dude to complete my zlet swap! the fittings on the tank from the return on fuel rail, does that go to the return at the pump, or to the bigger fitting on the tank itself? Going from a 1.8 to 2.0 so not got the 3rd fuel line as standard. Been told I can just remove the carbon canister and use that return line for the end of fuel rail. Any thoughts?

Aaron OMG Yes mate currently running 506 bhp on a garrett gtx30 71r Im pretty much doing exactly as you are at the min but seeing your video looks like I need to up my game abit on the underside. I'm a painter by trade and was going to only red under the arches then prep underneath like you have but prime/stone chip/black waxoyl so it would be black. Not sure now because the red does look the part but I would maybe not want to use it as much if I go that far. Lol Keep up the good work it's looking great

Thanks man! The engine i already rebuilt top to bottom with gm parts vxr pistons ect.. im going to do a video in the future explaining it all i may even remove it again. Nice turbo!
