This is gonna be a long one and may get buried in the comments list, but I just wanted to let you know that these videos have been of utmost help to me while preparing for the PTE. I am fluent in English, so I presumed the PTE Academic to be a simple English test (ignorant me) that i could easily clear. I scheduled it, giving myself 15 days to prepare. I still didn't take it seriously, and sat down to study with around 12 days to go for the test. When i went through the test structure, it made me dizzy. Too many sections in the test, and I kept getting confused between the different tasks. I could not, for the life of me, talk clearly in the Describe image task. Essay writing was painful. I went through various resources in a nervous frenzy until i chanced upon these videos. This was with 6 days to go for the test. For the next 4 days, I went through the videos for describe image, Re-tell lecture, essay writing, summarizing written and spoken texts and finally the Read Aloud video. What a revelation that was! Suddenly the test seemed less daunting, but still made me nervous though. I took notes of all the techniques highlighted in the videos, practiced the tasks given in the videos and other questions i could find on the internet. I was able to get an overall score of 90 on my first attempt in PTE by following his tips. My bit of advice to those looking to give the IELTS/PTE, please do give yourself adequate time to become acquainted with the language and the test format, and then book the test. There is no shortcut, there is no fooling the computer. There is no template which you can edit to suit each essay or other spoken/written tasks. Just some techniques that can help you mould your answers in a structured, coherent format. Jay's videos were the only source of credible information i could find, which focussed on improving MY skills, and not giving me false tips to "game" the test. Yes, it will be hard work. Yes, you may feel overwhelmed at times. But the results will be worth it. I sure am elated with my results. Lastly, even the native speakers may get stumped and start stuttering on the spoken tests, as described by Jay - the key is to march on, and keep talking. Jay, I have, and will continue to recommend your videos to my peer group and friends. The Read aloud video was particularly helpful, even for people not looking to give the test. Thanks again!

Got 9 band on my first attempt partly because of watching this video ans partly because I have been writing posts on fb from a year on general issues. It help, it really hepls, both these things. I tell you I wasn’t good at writing in the beginning, but what wonders did practice did to me I simply can’t express in words. While writing on fb particularly has a fear of people pinpointing your writing wrong which makes you think twice before you write, makes you search the vocab thoroughly and lets you practice from time to time. Giving opinions on Facebook isn’t easy where you have to remain unbias to avoid a controversy, therefore, helps me write it just like an essay of dis adv and adv. A big thanks to Jay and God who helped me get 9 on my first attempt of PTE.

Anything between 201 to 299 is fine unless you write it right. You write 300 words essay and you will get 79 there is no guarantee in that. PTE A is all about accuracy not length.

These videos are an absolute MUST for anyone taking these tests. I got an overall score of 90 with 88 being my lowest. Hi Jay/E2 Team. I appeared in PTE exam yesterday for the first time and got overall 90 (with 90s in all four areas). I did "real" practice only for two days and that was mostly watching videos here on this channel. Wonderful explanation with excellent tips. Superb job. I couldn't believe the result myself when I saw it. Extremely thankful for the great and very well-structured content. Thank you soooo much! A quick note for any learners interested. I think some additional background factors also helped me to get the result much higher than my expectations. One was working and studying abroad. Other thing which really helped was touch typing. I think the time and effort I spent on learning typing with 10 fingers was totally worth it. Nothing like being able to think and write almost simultaneously!

Artificially intelligent robots are increasingly taking human jobs. Some people believe that eventually all work will be done by robots while others believe that there will be a limit to the tasks that robots can perform. Choose which position you most agree with and discuss why you chose that position. Support your point of view with details from your experiences, observations or reading. Write between 200 and 300 words. Answer: Human employment is continuously decreasing as a result of artificially intelligent robots. While some people think that human labour will eventually become completely obsolete, others maintain that robots will never be able to perform certain jobs. This essay will discuss why robots will eventually be able to perform any function and therefore replace all human jobs. At some point in the near future, artificial intelligence will supersede human intelligence and outperform us on every possible task. Machines are becoming increasingly intelligent at an extremely rapid pace. Every few years, for example, computer capacity doubles in power. As a result of this exponential growth, there is no reason why computers won’t eventually replace humans in all jobs. Despite the inevitability of human labour replacement, some people don’t think that computers will ever reach certain levels of intellect and consciousness to rival humans in some jobs. These people are unaware of the rate at which computers are becoming intelligent. It is just a matter of time before computers can program themselves. Even the most complex human jobs such as medicine and education will be mechanised. Artificial intelligence is rapidly taking over the human workforce. In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before robots completely replace all human jobs no matter the skill or sophistication.

NOT TO SAY I won't be coming back for your videos anymore. However, I want to thank you for all you have done for students who watched your excellent videos. I have taken my test last week for the first time after FAILING 4 times at IELTS in a period of 3 years, failed to meet minimum 7.0 for speaking and writing. This time after watching all your videos, I have nailed scores below: Listening - 80 Reading - 76 Speaking - 90 (How on earth! I'm not even a native speaker, but my pronunciation and flow has always been spot on as I work as a finance manager) writing - 76 !! According to immigration dept, I have achieved proficient english of at least 65. This is what I needed for my Australian dream, anything lower I have to retake. I am also a Malaysian chinese where my english isn't that great always. let me share some experiences, please take some time to do practice tests available, it will greatly help you on time management which is crucial. During the test, I finished ahead of everyone and left the room 1 hour early and was even asked by the examiner whether I have missed any questions or have I given up. I was given a shock of my life thinking I have really missed any, but it seemed like my time management practices really paid off. I did struggled a bit during essay part as time was short compared to IELTS 40 minute, and struggled too on describe image part, however, I think PTE really focus on testing your ability to speak like a person on a train talking to a friend using simple sentences with spot on contents, too the room was really noisy during test time. comment below if you need any help other than our dear Jay here could help, I'll try to answer them on behalf of Jay. For those who aren't confident at all with their english or just picked up english in the last 3-5 years, I advise you strongly buy some test packages from Jay's tutorial website and start doing them, no point failing and retake another with AUD 330. Your goal is to ace it in one go.
