There's footage on KZbin of this gun firing IRL. The quirk is that the gun is long recoil, and the bolt automatically opens on the recoil stroke back and ejects the spent cartridge. Ian mentioned this quirk in his video on the PTRD, but having to manually do the recoil stroke was really painful.

Idk why but some of the games here show them using the PTRD like a bolt-action rifle instead of the bolt automatically reciprocating from the recoil when firing.

Because anyone asking whats the difference between PTRD and PTRS Both have same purpose as AT weapon, the difference being PTRD is easier to load and very cheap to make.

@hmvivo366 yeah. Consider I'm from the southern part of Vietnam, I could see that if the VA is an actual Vietnamese (granted), he's probably from the southern part of Vietnam too. You know. The accent of Vietnamese from the Northern part of my country is usually different from those from the Southern part.

PTRS-41 is a semi-auto anti-tank gun. PTRS-41 is a single-shot anti-tank gun.

PTRD-41 is single shot, PTRS-41 is clipfed like a Mosin but from under (and semi auto, my bad). PTRD-41 is made by the same person that made the DP-27 (Degtyaryov or whoever his name is) and PTRS-41 was made by the same person that made the SKS (Simonov).
