I'm kind of sad everyones saying it's missing bass. because I feel like thats the whole point of the song. it's so beautifully simplistic and yet complex at the same time. it's different. it's good. it feels sweeter, more lullaby-esc. I feel like if it had bass it would just sound like another ptx christmas song replica, but without the bass they make it something more new, more their own. It's showing that even without one member they are versatile and so so talented to make something still as amazing as this. it's the group growing. and it's lovely. this is easily one of my favourite covers, despite the lack of bass. almost because the lack of bass. excellent work you guys. I think this video emphasizes Avi's absence. I don't care for this video. The absence of a bass line gives it a, for lack of a better word, "tinny" sound. Setting it in a wooded area just reminds me of Avi and his love of nature even more. They will move on, but I think the decision to set this video in this setting was unfortunate. I normally watch ever PTX video several times--once was more than enough for this one. I wish them well as they adjust to this new chapter in their career. I have no doubt that all 5 of the group we love will do well. I love Avi's new music and am sure that, in time, PTX will find their new sound.

As to Kirstie's appearance, I used to be one of the crowd that loved her music, but wanted her to remain the sweet-faced young girl she was when she won the sing-off. She and Mitch have done the most morphing. I love the way both of them look now, completely grown up, glamorous, but not obviously so. With her jet-black hair and big silver hoop earrings, Kirstie looks like the gorgeous visions of an Aztec princess one would see on the old fifties calendars. It's a great look, guys. Congrats! And I love, love, love this song. The arrangement is spectacular!
