Some games are really like that though. It's amazing how nearly identical games can have such different communities. Even some competitive PVP games have amazing people in them, instead of the "COD lobby" full of 10 year olds insulting each other. Then you have a game like Arma, where I have seen enemy players actually give a new guy on the opposite team pointers and even equipment.
