Hey Sean, If by popular demand could you do a video on what to expect as a new hunter. This is my second year hunting in WI and I have been deerless. What I wish I would have known from the start was expect to fail a lot but always be ready to learn or don’t be discourage if people make fun of you for not harvesting a deer yet. Even though I have been deerless all season I am consistently seeing or hearing deer near me. So I know I’m heading in the right direction.

I'm sure I've included that in a number of places but I'll keep it in mind to see if I can work it in somewhere.

@seansoutdoors Жыл бұрын
The Dragon X8 is kind of considered their beginner's bow. While it is a beginner bow, it is still a very nice bow and I have many viewers who hunt and harvest big game animals with it. This bow is considered their flagship bow, so the riser and components are a step up in quality.

I can’t help but say KZbin is so frustrating that you need to resort to putting God bless you on the screen instead of saying it. I love the fact that you found a work around and are not willing to waiver in your love for God and wanting to spread the love. Keep up the great videos and may God bless you!! Be not ashamed.

Sean I love your channel I've been watching a long time I even won a dragon X8 this year and I know you're discouraged about KZbin being corrupt and singling out people of faith please don't let them win just say God bless out loud in your videos like you always do God will take care of you if your channel's meant to decline because you say God bless then so be it but let God make the cards fall where they may I love your channel I love you and KZbin can stick it where the sun don't shine because God will shine upon you God bless you and your family

Sup Sean? Haven't made it out western Maryland yet, but I found a perfect spot at pretty boy. Still deal with hikers and other hunters, but they been respectful once they notice me. Spot is right between pines and open woods. Only saw 2 lil bucks 4, 6pt, but harvested some doe finally. Saw 7 deer last Friday before I took a doe, then 3 Saturday morning before I harvested another at 730. Figure I'll head down again Friday, then rifle opens here in pa on Saturday, so ill hunt the farm. Keep the videos coming. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Sean

A deer bobs it's head up and down like that as a trick to get the predator to move. It has spotted something not right so itnisntrying to entice a movement so it can really focus it's 320 degree 20/100 2 dimensional vision on you.

That's how I explained it in my book. I didn't want to be redundant and also wanted people to have a reason to read the book lol.

Thanks. At this point I will shoot one like I passed on if I am given the opportunity. Iowa does not allow bow hunting during gun season, so I am currently waiting for that to end so that I can get back to hunting.

So the general rule seems to be- set up near bedding at dawn and food plots at dusk. I don't understand why a decent bedding area can't be camped at dusk, to bag a deer when deer would be LEAVING it. Is it because deer will often bed down close enough to the edge of the cover to see out, and will see you set up mid-late afternoon? What if the bedding area is fairly expansive?
@seansoutdoors Жыл бұрын
You can certainly hunt bedding areas in the evening. You just need to be in tight and know which way they are going to go. It's hard to pull off and get it to work out though.

Sean, Im sorry that youtube is messing with how your videos are being seen. I know a while back that youtube said they plan on putting a stop to any video that shows an animal being killed for sport. excuse what I am about to say please . People are getting butt hurt about harming animals . so they are trying to stop this from being seen. However I did get a notification that this video dropped , so there is that at least. funny fact, i was coming home from a hunt one afternoon and i was in my camos. this lady asked me if i hunt. Odd question but i answered yes. she asked why so i said that in my opinion the meat is much leaner and tastes really good. she then proceded to start yelling at me. saying " why dont you just get your meat from the store where the animals are unharmed". I was so taken back by that and couldnt speak for a minute or so . then I asked her which animal stands a better chance of survival. the ones i hunt in their habbitat, or the ones where a farmer puts a air charged bolt through their brain? Her reply was simple. they are being bred for food so thats ok. its how we get to eat. She did not seem to want to hear that when hunting the animal stands a better chance since they can smell me coming or any other mistake I make while hunting. but im sure its all because she dosent understand that not all hunters are bad. thanks for your content, as a new hunter i have learned a lot from your videos and was able to fix issues i had when hunting. so dont get frustrated and keep making content. the world is so caught up in being politically correct that most have forgotten how we survived in the past. you are right youtube isnt being fair to all content creators.. have a happy holiday and God Bless you for what you do.
@seansoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
People like that are not in touch with reality. An animal being bred to be food does not make it any less of a living creature. They all die so that we can live. We should all be more grateful. Anyway, she will hopefully have her eyes opened at some point. God bless you
