Awesome buck Brian! I too am forced to hunt public. Makes it a lot more challenging knowing there is a ton of pressure from others hunting the same area. I’m consistently seeing and having close encounters. Haven’t had a mature deer within range , only yearlings. Sooner or later it will happen for me. Buck or doe doesn’t matter, just a mature one. Great video ! I wish you all the best. God bless!

Not to nit pick, but make sure you spell the name of the individual correctly in the title. I'm sure Brian is flattered to be called Brain though. Great content, thanks for everything you have contributed to the industry! You altered the course of hunting technology singlehandedly.

I helped blood track a big buck shot in the hind quarters, we went 100's of yards up and down ravines and across a creek. He lived and was caught on camera a few weeks later, with the scar to show for it.

At least you know he lived. Always makes me feel better

I would like to know when this was. I killed a buck that could be a one year older twin to the on in the trail cam pic at 11:55. 2 seasons ago. On public land in Illinois.
@GoodsitmobileАй бұрын
This was 2023. The buck in the picture was in the bedding area from nov 11 2022 to nov 17th 2022. I never saw him again. What day did you kill him?
@robertwilliamson6958Ай бұрын
@@Goodsitmobile dang. must just be a strikingly similar deer. I killed it in 21. Mine was 14 point and 162”.

I've had a few bucks mortally wounded go down in a spot low like that and out of sight,it's amazing even though they're dying they still have enough sense to get out of sight..my wife's KZbin handle btw and that's definitely a dandy..

Good video but if there’s a lesson there it’s not to track a marginally hit deer in daylight with a bow sling on and around your shoulder. It all worked out but that buck could have just as easily got up and ran off by the time you got your bow ready. Congrats on the deer
@ghostface1373Ай бұрын
I too have soo many questions about this hunt..
@danielallmon6845Ай бұрын
That’s your opinion. That’s how you hunt. I personally wait too. But that doesn’t mean it’s the one way to be done. He snuck up and made it happen.
@WisconsinBowhuntАй бұрын
@ not really just my opinion man. It’s called woodmanship and knowing when to push and not to push and when to be ready to make a follow up shot or when to walk at a crisp pace through the woods with your bow on a sling.
@WisconsinBowhuntАй бұрын
@@danielallmon6845 he also didn’t sneak up on it. He ran into it and he was lucky that it didn’t have enough strength to get up and run.

Congrats on the deer. Video needs cleaned up. A 2 minute montage intro is way too long. No need for 4 minute commentary after. Almost 7 minutes before you actually are in woods? Not trying to be negative, yall have good hunting content, but the other stuff just needs cleaned up.
@LoneWolfCustomGearАй бұрын
Appreciate the feedback. I’ll try and keep it moving along better in future videos.
