I thought PSB were a a one theme wonder, but this amazing. Instead of gimmick and frippery, JDB gives it real grit and gravitas. He always sings heartfelt. Subtle, poignant and uplifting. Job's a good un.

Seems a bit of an odd choice for a single at first, but thematically this is one of the most important songs on the album, so it makes sense. Plus any chance to show off James Dean Bradfield has to be done. What a man.

Alongside Chvrches, FTP and Alt J, PSB is the only "new" band that keeps me expecting music from the 2010's (besides the older bands). But PSB gets all the credits, unlike the others they keep growing. This is a weird single, almost flat, but the new album has the vibe to be as good as RFS. Glad they were back at México once again.

Entre las joyas poco conocidas de 2017 cabe destacar este disco de Public Service Broadcasting con sus pasajes posrock. El trío londinense habla en "Every Valley" de la huelga minera del Reino Unido y su impacto en Gales, poniendo el foco en los marginados. Un tema social poco común en el pop alternativo. Han utilizado fragmentos de audio tomados del archivo público de la BBC, de modo el reto ha sido contar una historia realmente dura, de como los gobernantes han acabado con una industria y una región, sin ofrecer empleos alternativos. En el álbum han colaborado Tracyanne Campbell, de Camera Obscura y James DEan Badfield de Manic Street Preachers, aunque son los sonidos de los noticiarios, usados como samples, las voces principales. En sus dos primeros elepés apostaron por las texturas electrónicas, aquí destacan más los ritmos progresivos. Despues de actuar el viernes pasado en la sala Sidecar, de Barcelona, hoy presentarán los nuevos temas en Moby Dick, de Madrid, a las 21 horas. Yo no me lo perdería. Música independiente novedades.

I was drawn to PSB for their innovative use of historical dialogue mixed with a wicked music score. This track doesn't feel PSB, it feels U2. Not a bad comparison I know, and tbh it is a good tune, but it doesn't shout PSB at me.
