If Ben comes here, he would really enjoy Lyon, there are so many interesting things here ! I have ridden all the lifts shown in this video, but some have been replaced not long before you shot this video. The ones at La Part-Dieu tower (the tall hotel) used to be 1974 Schindlers, with buttons replaced in the 1990s. The new cabin and buttons are just horrible compared to before. They used to have a beautiful wooden cab !

@@thefrenchelevatorchannel Unfortunately, my holidays entirely depends on my parents. Schindlers: The main lifts or the service lifts? I personally like the fast Thyssenkrupp because I can rarely see fast lifts

The lift at 11:42 still worked last year. It was usually locked, but was the only accessible lift for disabled people since the main lifts were too slow, until they got replaced by Kone. They were much better before the mod, with Schindler M-Series fast logic ! The one at 12:37 is a Schindler, not a generic. That's one cool thing in Lyon metro : almost all the lifts are Schindler. The escalator at 14:45 is still being fixed, I often take the metro from that station. Where are the lifts at 19:07? I haven't filmed them yet

I like musical people on metros, if you only the Underground or the future crossrail line could have random musical people, there's some here in Fance and some in Iran according to some bloke who filmed it who goes by the name indigotraveller I think.

I also like them, because they are making your day better and they are usally playing good music. Sadly I have never heard good quality music in the hungarian metro.
