It looks like the carb is bottle-necking the moped. A bigger cylinder will suck more fuel in, but if the carb is too small it will restrict the cylinder. I'm running a 15mm stock carb, stock airfilter, 49cc cylinder with 6 transferports, stock exhaust and stock gearing and it's running 32mph. With a 70cc cylinder you'll need atleast a 15mm carb, a 17mm would be better. Also take a look at the intake manifold from the carb, it also needs to be larger and a less 90° angle and more round.

Thanks for the advice! I have recently finished another bike that I’m running a 15mm Bing but here’s the cool part! The intake is 3D printed!

Is it the intake between carb and cylinder or a carb intake? If it's between cylinder and carb doesn't it melt? Or is it the airfilter that's 3d printed? I've got an Ender 3 so i'd like to 3d print something for my Maxi. The only that i got 3d printed is a beer can holder that presses into the frame.

@@rasmus1600 so it’s the legitimate intake itself. Check out my Instagram @RestoCycles. Just got another package of them in and posted about them. Doing a giveaway soon

This might be a dumb question but im a teenager and i am looking forward to get a 70cc kit for my moped and i just dont know does any 70cc kit fit any 50cc engine
@RestoCycles6 ай бұрын
Not a dumb question at all. The answer is not. Not everything will fit on each other. Youll want to make sure everything is motor/bike specific

What setup are you using? Opinion on bing carburetors?

Personally I’ve always kept my bings on my bikes. This is a 70cc kit (TCCD) with a techno pipe. 15mm Bing and that’s it

@@RestoCycles I use the same on my puch maxi but it dies on idle. I bought a new carburator but it still dies. Using a 82mm nozzle, I’ve tried to tune it in but it is still dying on idle. I just replaced all the bearings inside the motor so I hope this does the trick. The E50 engine should not be hard to fix they say🥲😆
