Nice CBG I am currently working on a purple heart neck for a CBG. Lots of good info here. Variation on your solo comment -- Can you play high, so high only the dog can hear you?

Man that Just intimated Purple Avo Uvezian is Just so sweet. If I can Just find one of those Just gorgeous Avo Uvezian boxes and Just find one of those Just intonation fret boards I might Just build myself one. And by then I might Just be able to play it. Pretty guitar Del. Interesting whale sounds with the drill motor! The drill usually sounds much higher... I think. Very Adrian Belewish. Btw, just coincidentally, my first CBG was a Romeo and Julietta box too. I've only built three, but the cardboard/MDF R&J is still the best sounding acoustically of my three, it had no electronics.

i just ground one ... then the fret on the saddle bridge grounds the remaining strings 😎

instead of using screws on the top edge for fret markers, try inserting electrical wire, Works great.
