Good to see Wes come full circle. These songs are like 4 minutes long time machines that take me to a time of innocence, naivety and solitude. All answers are within us, we just need to ask the right questions. Cheers!

As a father of two beautiful young children going through a divorce from their abusive alcoholic mother, this song hits hard right now. She got away with it for years and I’ve finally found the courage to walk away. She’s tried to weaponize them against during this process but my children’s smile assures me things will be ok. I will always fight for them and teach them abuse is not love and to walk away if it ever happens to them.
@Metallicfloydfan4l22 күн бұрын
Keep fighting for your kids NO MATTER WHAT. A few years ago, my now ex-wife was acting paranoid about child trafficking for weeks. The last night we were a family, she falsely accused me of being a part of the "pedo ring". She then abducted our young children in the middle of the night and I went 3+ months without seeing them until a Court ordered them back to our state.
@Metallicfloydfan4l22 күн бұрын
Before then, her family said I'd never see my kids again if I didn't move closer to them. Makes no sense for what they accused me of. My TRO was dropped without me ever testifying because the Judge was disgusted with my ex's obvious lies. But, he still made me "volunteer" to monitored visitation, which was humiliating. 8+ months of that. And 2 years fighting every accusation under the sun. I finally got 50% custody, but it cost me and my family $600K.
@Metallicfloydfan4l22 күн бұрын
Make sure you DOCUMENT everything in Google sheets! Date, Title/Topic, Who is interacting with you, the communication method (text, email, phone call, etc.), and some content for context. Unfortunately, I never got to present my case, but I have everything documented and am writing a book about how traumatizing my experience was all because my mentally ill ex made up lies and her family covered them up.
@Metallicfloydfan4l22 күн бұрын
What's crazy is we are both educated and she comes from a very wealthy background. 7 months before she did this, we met Wes Scantlin at a Chinese food venue in Burbank. She had him sign on paper his name and it says "You rock!"
@smellwhatscookin19 күн бұрын
@@Metallicfloydfan4lthanks brother for the reply. No matter how hard it is to fight back and fight through the lies and torture to get the truth out, it was all unwarranted and the worst of all is our poor children are hurt the most. WE KNOW HOW TO RAISE OUR KIDS. Never let a bad woman bring a good man down 🤘🏻

Perfect timing for 2025, brought back so many wonderful memories after school. Then later on in life driving on the highway in the truck with the windows rolled down peak summer,the Alberta landscape on the side, the sun hitting…. Just perfect 👍. Songs that are just forever timeless and this is in the top 50 for sure. Such a great version too. Much thanks for being part of the soundtracks to my life, and many others I would guess.
