The sadness of Puddles' songs have helped me let go on more than one occasion. When my father passed and the tears wouldn't come, Puddles wandered through my lonely existence and bared them. I was wondering how u were gonna arrange this song…as usual, u killed it. Totally destroyed it. I LOVE it!! U even kept her little nuances (I think that’s the word I’m looking for) n it, almost mumbling a few lines…ur voice is just magnificent…deep and very captivating and then u finish some of the lines up with a really high pitch that still had a really great vibrato (again, lol, I think that’s the word I’m looking for)…it really was great and I can’t wait to listen to it again.

Saw Pudfles in Indianapolis 10/28/2022. Great show. He sang this song. My daughter had to tell me the title. Listening to the lyrics took me back to 1981 when I split from the only true love of my life. No one has measured up since and my life has been one of a long regret. Maybe "to be continued."
