Shot in late fall 2008 and originally aired in 2009, this episode of FTTV features fall fishing fundamentals for shad-based reservoirs. Shot in old school SD but the info is still very relevant. Troy Coburn was the guest and we targeted wipers and black bass on a fun outing.

Great video! Wiper are tons of fun when they boil and nice largie...I caught a 4 1/2 out of there and nothing close after that. Great catches!

What time are you there? We have been trying for wiper all year but haven’t gotten any thing but rainbows and small mouth. Two wallie, and one big mouth over by the party cove. Nothing bigger then stock fish. When I was a kid over ten years ago it was hot. Now it seems it’s dead. Any help would be helpful. We just started fishing again this year. On a personal note, I want a huge fish for my son who just started fishing a week ago like I used to get when I was a kid.
