Homura's witch has loose, decaying teeth as its minions. Given how the teeth fire nuts, it fits her character surprisingly well: a tough personality willing to perform any difficult task (cracking nuts), not breaking from those tasks but constantly in pain (rotting from within). An interpretation of checking the teeth can be to check for tooth decay if the person checking has knowledge of Homura's witch minions. On a side note, losing teeth can be a symbol of death: in the past before dentistry to lose one's teeth means the loss of the ability to eat, making almost guaranteed death. Homura's teeth minions are probably a reference to a nutcracker but the teeth's death symbolism fits in with the witch's desire to die. I find it interesting how after Homura became the devil we see her birds and dolls but not teeth.

So if homura just simply wants to be with madoka by her side, yes letting the law of cycle take her is the best option.

My theory on the movie's title: Walpurgisnacht is a witch that keeps reappearing. It's the convergence of several MG's despair into one entity. She's more of a phenomena that happens to witches than a singular entity. What if by making this pocket dimension and trapping several MG's with her, Homura unintentionally brought about another Walpurgisnacht and she has to seek help from God Madoka but her inner struggle in the movie is not having the heart to release madoka from the prison that she made for her.

There is a sound of a door closing, and homura saying “shiawase” that mean happy and another word that I can’t hear but to me sound like a melancholic goodbye from her to Madoka
