Hi, Im interested in visiting here. We are planning on driving from San Diego. Wanted to know how is the drive? Like is it safe?

I have been there 3 times and twice in the past 2 months. I personally feel perfectly safe there. BUT with that said my drive from Phoenix to to there is much shorter than yours and I am only driving in Mexico for about an hour before making it to the resorts. From San Diego you would go through Mexicali once you get to Mexicali it is still about 3 1/2 hours of driving in Mexico. I am sure plenty of people do it. I also see lots of California plates when I am there.

There are flights from Tijuana to Rocky Point....I would do that.

Exactly then you don't have to drive so long. Just gets expensive if you are bringing a whole family with you. The other option would be to drive to Phoenix first then head down the way we did, but that would make the trip even longer.@@barryh6983

We all took personal vehicles. And got Mexico car insurance before crossing the border.

I personally have trouble sleeping in a new surrounding, bed, location, the first few nights wherever I go. Everyone is different, there are plenty of the group that slept fine. Most of us were in bed by 11 or 12pm and up between 6:30 and 8:00am.

Expense is relative. For me, this is a 4 hour drive which is much much cheaper than flying to Cancun. There are plenty of places to stay that are pretty cheap in Rocky Point. But if you are going to be flying anyway, Cancun is awesome, I have been there and it is great.

LOL seriously Larry? It was for fun, a joke, not to be taken literally, and NOT a spiritual practice, NOR to replace any kind of personal revelation from God. And no Tarot cards are not mentioned specifically in the Bible, at least not in the King James version. But with that said I know many people take tarot card reading to be real and a spiritual practice. Not the case with us. Judge, not less ye be judged.
