Self-deprecating humour can be fun if it's done well, like all types of humor. As long as you're not using it as a subtle way of say "I'm actually dying inside help me" because at that point, it'll only get more awkward. P.S I love your videos, one of the few small youtubers that brings a smile to me when ya upload.

These types of upbeat depressing comics can often be helpful for socially anxious and depressed people. It presents these sad topic in a lighthearted way which gives the brain dopamine and tricks it into thinking optimistically. Even if the jokes aren't funny, just presenting serious problems in a goofy tone can help some people confront their miserable day-to-day life and get through the day.
