As much as I've really been a cereal lover my WHOLE life...it never dawned on me to mix flavors in the same bowl with milk! Crazy, I know! So thanks for all the great flavor mixing suggestions! I'm excited to try 'em out!

Puffins Original, man I used to love this cereal! I get why people compared it to the original Cap'n Crunch since they're both corn/oat base cereals, so the taste has a similarity for that, but Puffins Original is a lot less sweet and has a stronger oat flavor than Cap'n Crunch in my opinion, as well as being bigger pieces, which you mentioned. I actually liked Puffins Original much better than all the other Puffins varieties I've tried. The only other Puffins variety I liked was the Pumpkin, which has a pretty good pumpkin flavor and not too much spice. Other than that, the Cinnamon Puffins has too strong of a cinnamon flavor with not enough sweetness to balance it out. Which is odd because I love cinnamon and put extra ceylon cinnamon on almost everything I eat. It was just something about the cinnamon flavor in Puffins that seemed off to me. And then the Peanut Butter Puffins has such a strong corn flavor that it tasted like a corn chip to me. Along with an odd mild peanut butter flavor. The entire cereal just tasted off to me. And the only other Puffins variety I've tried is the Berry Burst Protein. It also has a strong corn flavor, but not as overpowering as the Peanut Butter variety, and you can taste the pea protein. The berry scent was good, but the flavor was so-so. Overall I wasn't crazy over them. So to me the Original definitely tastes the best by far!

Today I saw 2 new Christmas cereals at Walmart! Holiday marbit lucky charms, (I believe it had snowballs, snowflakes, and a few more) and hot chocolate Cocoa Puffs (just Cocoa Puffs with marshmallows)

I remember trying Puffins when I was about 12 and thinking they were gross because they weren’t sweet enough. But back then I would have happily eaten a bowl of sugar cubes soaked in milk, so I guess I should give them another chance. Maybe the peanut butter flavor-I think Sprouts carries them here in Cali.

Loved Puffins cereal! I was never into sugary cereal as a kid. (Only as an adult, for dessert!) I loved those birds. Also a good book publisher. AMEN to “revisiting anti-trust laws” in the USA. Freedom = free market = few regulations = business takes its natural course, not rescued by the BIG PEOPLE, not produced by slave labor in China = innovation and creativity = success.

PB Puffins are awesome; by far my favorite, and in my top five cereals of all time. The chocolate PB puffins are lame; chocolate is too mild.
