And Napoleon hit the nail on the head regarding the bounty on the chain. That bounty on that chain led to Trevon Lane being robbed by Orlando Anderson, which in turn led to Tupac accosting and assaulting Orlando, which in turn led to Tupac’s shooting. So even if Puffy isn’t directly involved through solicitation of murder, he’s indirectly involved as being one of the catalysts that led to Tupac’s murder. The big irony is that Puffy himself was in the vicinity when Tupac was shot and robbed at Quad Studios. It does get rather suspicious that he would be somehow connected to both Tupac shootings. Puffy’s actions as it relates to Tupac’s murder needs to be probed.

Again, there is responsibility on both sides here. Knowing and proving things are two different things as Napolean just pointed out. Did anyone come forward and was willing to be on record to further that investigation. No, they weren't. The cops apathy or dislike towards 2pac is not the only factor. If they aren't interested in solving it they would have just let Kefee keep making his money and ignored him. No, what's happened is Kefee has opened a new avenue to the cold case so they are responding.

So it's possible that some people can keep incriminating items as souvenirs or trophies because they carry so much value. "This bullet killed JFK or 2Pac." Imagine how valuable that bullet can be. My issue with the alleged Deathrow chain bounty theory is, what would be Puffy’s motive? Only reason to steal a chain is too publicise it and humiliate the other side! Look at what happened the same year when Ice Cube got Ko’d and Cypress Hill got the chain took pictures of it and brought it on stage!! But Puffy was being told by Clive Davies to not feed into it as Arista and Sony didn’t want the negative attention (Clive David would later be sacked anyway for the negative attention). So if Puffy was going out of his way to publicly disatcosiate himself from this..why would he want DR chains? Unless he wanted to keep them as private souvenirs and not publicise it!
