The whole 'how was Megamind's mother able to shove him out' question made me think about human baby's soft spots, and I've come to the dreadful conclusion that Megamind was born with a completely floppy head. Just straight octopus type of thing that hardened quickly. Also fits well with the popular theory that his species were semi-aquatic. I curse you with this image now.

If you go back to 10:30 or rewatch the movie to get a better experience of the scene and pause, you can see Minion's skeleton light up from the explosion. It's extended in the full movie. Such cool little details like this is what makes me love this movie even more.

A theory on why Megamind was just kept in prison since infancy: his own safety. If the prison gave him up, the government wold be the first to snatch up the alien life form that couldn't yet advocate for itself and disappear it into some underground lab forever. The warden and any other prison official who watched over him from the beginning probably realized that and did the best thing they could in the situation. As long as Megamind was under the prison's jurisdiction, the government couldn't touch him.

If you pay attention to the hoverbike when it lands, you can see it gets damaged by the impact. Minion even tries the controls, clearly tells Roxanne he can't control the bike, and _that's_ why he threw her onto that awning, but wasn't able to get himself out of trouble.

My personal favorite aspect of Megamind is the big contrast between Megamind and Titan. Despite Megamind being a self-proclaimed super villain, he's not really that evil. Yes he committed crimes and likely caused a lot of destruction, but there's no real evidence that he actually hurt or even killed anybody. Titan, on the other hand, did hurt people and attempted to kill both Roxanne and Megamind in a fit of rage. Megamind also has a clear value and understanding of what being a hero means in his rant to Titan. When he learns of all the crimes Titan committed, he is visibly disgusted with him. That's a sign that someone has the makings of a hero, the value of good. Titan, however, only really became a superhero to get with Roxanne, and when he can't, he decides it's not even worth the effort. Finally, one thing to note is that Megamind was semi forced to become a super villain because of Metro Man, and now that he's out of the game, he is finally given a chance to show his true self. Titan did become a villain by choice, he just didn't before as Hal because he didn't have powers, but once he got them, his true colors are crystal clear.

Wonder Woman lost her invisible coffee mug. This movie underperformed in the non-English markets. The heavy language play did not translate as easily as the other movie's humour, and they cost about the same to Animate.. The original team is happy with both.

Which is SUCH a disappointment. Megamind is BY FAR the better movie. The reason it was more popular is bc kids loved the minions & stuff in DM, & young kids didn’t really understand a lot of the jokes. This definitely targeted adults & DM was for younger kids.
