"Never add cold metal to molten metal" Good on you to put these tips in there. I was melting some aluminum and thought my metal was dried already but it was laid next to the propane tanks which condensed water on them and they got wet. Luckily no major injuries, just lost a bit of hair which grew back. Make sure to wear your aprons and eye protection!

@@raloed.363 the cans were recycled in another way, basically being put in a machine which stores it to be sent to a proper recycling facility and rewarding the recycler 10 cents, i believe. So the pull tabs were kept so he could do this with them

This video hit home for me because of the goonies plaque, literally this past Monday morning at work my best friend and coworker had brought in a Big goonies poster that was framed that he said he had found in the dump and he hung it up in the shop, so Tuesday Our boss saw it hanging up and wanted him to take it down and he didn’t take it down, and on Wednesday morning I received some bad news that my best friend and coworker had went to sleep Tuesday night and never woke up. R.I.P. Ian Messamore you will be missed!!

Fantastic work as always. My favorite metal is aluminium. A couple of bits: the green flames are something wholly unique and exciting, the large bar is great to see, melting a solid piece of brass is mind-blowing, and you have the perfect antidote to a cold day, a thousand-degree fire! The thing that I found interesting to me is I just started saving tabs from cans this week and here you made a video of that. And Goonies that was interesting. I enjoyed that movie back in the day. Absolute gold to measure the temp of the beer with the Infrared Thermometer. Outstanding idea. Obviously, each time you actually touch a beer to feel how cold it is you up the temp. Each degree counts (Unless you are English of course)

You should check the back of the fridge to see if there are any colder beers than the ones up front. I would imagine that all that colder ones would be found there. Just a thought!. Thank you for the idea of getting a devil forge. Got pretty use to aluminum and am about to step it up a notch and do some copper once I get my new molds in the mail this weekend.. Mmmmmmm copper!

The coldest part in my fridge is the top right directly under where the source of the cold is. I'll get bottles of water that are frozen there and nowhere else in the fridge. Nice try on saying all parts are equal temp though.

You should make an in depth tutorial for the entire process and why your doing what your doing. It would be helpful because I am exceptionally thick. Also wouldn't it be easier to weigh one tab, then weigh the whole thing, and divide?

I have a piecework scale for doing tear weights & telling you how many itty bitty parts you have in a bin for computer parts, $40 on eBay maybe you can find one & that’ll answer the question of EXACTLY how many pull tabs were in this perfect bar!

Hi D, believe it or not I've never watched the Goonies before. Regardless the plaques turned out great! I like the polished one better than the other. I love the big aluminum bar with its mirrored finish also. That's much better than the heap of pull tabs. Lastly those key things came out cool too. I think you attempted pouring those way back in the beginning with lead because they looked familiar to me. I get a kick out of you saving your fails. I know you love them just the same and that tells me your a man who loves what he's doing! You're getting close to a million subs. I'm excited for you!👍❤✌
