Fantastic looking nachos!!! To save some time and effort place your veggies on an unlit grill and blast them with your weed burner, turn them over and blast them again then place them in a plastic bag and let them steam and continue to cook a bit. That weed burner is the perfect tool for roasting veggies plus its fun to do too!!

Rus great video! i love nachos and pulled pork!! Your shots look incredible, did you get a new camera or you using lights?
@SmokyRibsBBQ9 жыл бұрын
AllasYummyFood Thank you Alla! I've had this camera for around 5 months now, but what you are probably noticing is that I'm shooting and rendering my videos in 1080P60 KZbin now supports 60FPS which gives it a very sharp clean look as long as you have a good camera. I'm using a Canon G30, and a Canon R40 as a secondary camera for different angles. The colors match the G30 pretty well, but not as good as quality, but it works overall pretty well. Both cameras will shoot at 60fps

Rendering pellets is very enjoyable Rus, plus you get snack on em while fresh & warm too. Making nacho's with em was a great idea for party or game snacks. The used lard now has even more flavor when used again.... If you store that used lard covered in your fridge it keep for a few weeks, Frozen it keeps for months. I use a Pro high temp Cone filter to clean the oil before storage. www.amazon.com/Royal-Premium-Cone-Filters-Case/dp/B0018OZFTS

@SmokyRibsBBQ9 жыл бұрын
***** Thanks I appreciate it. I don't guess it really matters how you char them. I was actually watching a show this morning on the "Cooking channel", and she was cooking Mexican food. She was charring hers in a cast iron skillet like I did, but she said to keep the skillet dry (no oil) for better charring. May try that next time I make the salsa, but not to sure how well the tomatoes will do without oil. They want to stick even with oil. May just roast them in the oven or grill. I'll experiment for sure ;)
