It may be come with FM as a lot of cars with AM only radios can have an aftermarket 8 track or cassette player with FM capabilities so you won't be left behind the times 😉 I'd see if you can get it working again! I used the torch to get my sons ATV engine free. It sat in a barn without a spark plug for over 20 years. It still runs great today, we've never had the engine apart. Heat, followed by penetrating oil repeatedly got it free. I don't think it's going to get that 318 going though.

@RealSteelFabrications like you said, you have a perfectly good 383 big boy just waiting to be used. 318s are good little motors but realistically, you're probably doin it more good not running it. You might could get away with a backyard rebuild with a dingleball hone and some gaskets. Ya never know. :D

Hey just found you guys not long ago like the show just subscribed I'm big Mopar guy. Have to let you know that 383 you got running has the wrong spark plugs in it !!!! Way to long !! Those are for the small block Mopar motors the LA series motors the plugs for big blocks are shorter by like half !!! You didn't mess anything up but uu can so change them out I think in champion plugs it calls for a RJ12YC keep up the good work man ! Again like the show

Big Mopar family here, so more to come! If we end up using that 383 for a project, I’ll look into those plugs, thanks for the info. 270 hp 2 bbl all 383s. 1970 -1971 383 4 bbl had 300 hp. early 1960s 383s had high and low compression 4 bbls had 325 . 1968- 1970 rated 290 hp. try to use a good size 26 inch type radiator or a aluminum type radiator. that 383 is probably 270 hp. the pistons in the early 1970s have a slightly dished pistons in them. a neighbor back in the late 1970s had bought a 1968 2wd blue 3/4 ton dodge w-200 with a 383 2 bbl with a new process 4 speed with a dana 60. with 4.10 gears. it would pull anything and everything blow the 1 tire off of it. and it passed everything but a gas station.the other neighbor had a 1968 dodge w-100 and beleive it or not it was light green 383 330 hp 727 auto on the dashboard and had a prestolite dualpoint distributor in it. he came up to our farm to get some hay bales off of my father for his cows. put some bales on the box of the truck and it wouldnt start. filed the points and he went home. it had a broken motor mount. the neighbor had given that old relick to niagra mowhawk worker for putting in a power pole for their power. imagine that. he didnt want to give it to his son because he knew his son would have smashed it up. i remember it had white bucket seats in it and wer slightly ripped. a truck like that today would be a nice led sled.
