Pulling Out The 1.9L ALH TDI, Tips For Prepping Before Install On The 1 Ton Dakota Swap

Finally getting the engine pulled out of my beetle and getting it cleaned up and ready for install in the 1 Ton Dakota TDI Swap. Going over tricks I've found over the years to make stuff on the backside of the engine easier once it's in the vehicle and firewall clearance is tight including adapter modifications and coolant routing.

I swapped a 2010 TDI engine into a 2006 TDI years ago Love it! Have 22/60 turbo and huge intercooler on it now. I have a ported head and larger injectors from England, haven't installed them yet

I don't see them all the time, but checking Facebook marketplace almost weekly I usually come across a good deal every 2-3 months, but they go fast
