Where you put the pry bar on your primary is not the right spot. You don't want to damage where the towers ride

This is a great video!! I just did all of this to my 2021 850. Followed along exactly except for the wd40. Thanks man!! Any work you do on this machine, videos like this would be awesome

Usually sometimes blowing belts the dust or shredds locks the 1 way bearing up
@FordManiac762 ай бұрын
That’s what happened to mine! The one way bearing failed and ate up the shaft on the rear sheave!! Easiest to replace the whole clutch when this happens! The rear sheave costs almost as much from Polaris as a new clutch!
@ProjectVengeance4 жыл бұрын
Put the pry bar in a different spot on the primary next time not good to put it in the guides. Glad you are learning fast tho buddy. If you need bushings look up garage products or dk bushings. And rear driveshaft keep an eye on it for excessive play.
@howardtomberlin29064 жыл бұрын
I hope you did not lose the three little washers that where in the secondary clutch to space it to keep it from creaping.

Just a little tip: when putting the screws and bolts back in thread them in by hand for the first 5 threads. Let me tell you when working on off-road machines it saves you time, money, energy and frustration

My one way bearing failed and made the machine very hard to shift because the machine always wants to lurch forward in gear! Not an easy fix, had to replace the whole clutch because the shaft on the rear sheave was damaged!
