I still have my 1980 BMW 320i and plan to resto mod it. I woukd like to lower, different tires, clean it since I am now have more time to work on it. As a matter of fact I have a 1980 Mazda Rx7. I knew reviewing all of your videos, I made the decision a long time ago to keep. It has a style that in my eye has to be cool. Just like my very first car I had in 1980, it was my 1973 Datsun 240z. I hope to see more videos.

Got two of these, a ‘76 and an 80. Converted the 76 from an automatic to Getrag 5 speed, a lot of work, steering column, clutch and brake pedals and different driveshaft, bolted right up. Planned on doing a Ford 289 or 302 , narrower than a Chevy 350, in the 76, but learned it would have to pass enhanced dyno emissions here in Colorado, just as the stock BMW engines did, so gave the Ford engines to a friend. The 80 has factory air, doesn’t work but clicks on, fan runs. I keep both cars alive, haven’t driven the 76 in awhile. Are you still working on your BMW project?

That’s awesome. I’m in the the process of getting the floor pans welded still. The passenger side had to be completely replaced just need to do a few spots on the driver side , then I can tackle the trunk. Just haven’t filmed much of the project as it’s kinda difficult to do all that by myself and film, just takes too much time. Hopefully by late summer I’ll have all the welding finished then I can film the engine rebuilt part.

Great videos man, keep doin! But if you know that those air condition system parts worth a bunch of money in EU, you would be more careful with them 😅

Hey, love the car 👌I have a white 1982 318i with the four light front, so it looks pretty similar. I heard you are building it for rallycross or something like that right? Can you get rally parts for these in the USA? If not, i know a place where you can get some from Finland. Also, fun fact: My car was used to make some of those parts, so at least it was used for something after 15+ years of sitting before i got it 😁

Thanks! I have most of the parts. It’s taking me a bit longer to put it all together I’m hoping to get it aleast running by next summer.
