Steam Gardens is a W BGM choice, and having the Yoofoe version play while the player is riding Yoshi was a genius move. Also love the emphasis on the use of the timed drawers! Not to mention that I'm a simple man (er… platypus): I see a video on a Yoshi level, I click.

When you dismount from Yoshi and then do a flip immediately after landing, like at 1:45, is that a sideflip?? The animation looks like one, but I had no idea they could be executed like that, which has me really curious. I've seen a sideflip performed out of a landing with forward momentum, but never out of a landing with *backward* momentum. Is it because when Mario lands he's moving forwards relative to the retracting floor, or is there something else going on?
