I’ve seen so many documentaries on John bonham n zeppelin n have been obsessed with the way he plays drums but never knew he was so involved in his sons racing. That’s such a cool connection to kno one of if not the best drummer to ever do u it was essentially a mini dad😂 what could’ve been if he never passed
@johntomasik15557 ай бұрын
Way cool Bonham's on. One of the few in the rock world I still want to see live. Checked his schedule for this year, and nothing coming my way. Gotta keep an eye out. Flagging Thunder Valley this weekend. Hoping Jett is back strong and a great race from Sexton. Would be cool if Sexton has found his groove and can make a run for the title.

JBLZE is a must see show. The band is so tight and Mr. Jimmy has Pages riffs, manorism, sound and style down. My only complaint on the show is it was only 2 hours. Because of venue restraints. The long improvised versions of songs where not played . So they could have the largest playlist they could put together. It's not just a cover band. Jason keeps his fathers legacy alive, and the great part is the stories he tells about his father. It is more then a show. It is a small venue and you feel the personal connection with the band, the music and the crowd singing aloud every word from every song. I will never miss a show if it's within driving distance.
@ladylog54707 ай бұрын
@@rickjohnson3580dang that’s kind of a bummer they don’t do the long improvised version of the songs. Seeing the different ways they played the songs live like at MSG was always so inspiring. I’ve seen led zeppagain a couple times n they do those versions live it’s insane to see humans to perform at that level even if it’s a tribute
@johntomasik15557 ай бұрын
@@rickjohnson3580 Actually, I'd rather see JBLZE than the Hagar/Anthony/Satch thing. Bonham drumming AVH songs doesn't wow me at all. AVH was ok, but nowhere near as special a drummer as John Bonham, and Jason did a helluva job doing his dad's songs. Hagar has a great voice, but it wears on me. And, Satriani's had his moments, but his music, aside from Surfin with the Alien, was none too memorable. ...just my opinion....

Wont be buying anything EKS anymore. So basically we all know how dangerous this sport is and you signed up for it and because your son cant hack it and crashed himself you file a lawsuit to chase a payout? Respect lost completely
@ladylog54707 ай бұрын
Idk man 28 bones in one crash is a bit excessive, that’s like getting hit by a semi truck. Maybe that section really was stupid dangerous cuz I’ve never heard of anyone breaking themselves that bad riding a track
@GeoPolKT377 ай бұрын
@@ladylog5470 that is part of the sport whether its 1 bone or 28 (which sounds exaggerated). If you knew how rough the section was before even riding the track wouldn’t you take it slower and be more careful through there?

No sad feelings for those types pf people

We all know when we go to a track and sign a waiver. We look at the track were going to ride. Nobody put a gun to the kids head and said u have to race this track. These kind of lawsuits are going to be the death of local tracks.

Idk man 28 bones is fricken crazy, even Travis pastrana hast broken that many bones at once n he does double backflips. I haven’t heard of a kid hurting themselves that bad before at a track so maybe it really was a super dangerous section unless the kid just needs to drink more milk. Both arms n both legs is unreal to me
@BravoPsychology1017 ай бұрын
The dad, kid, family, and all others who race understand the danger and to sue is ridiculous. They all signed the waiver before riding. How they were even able to sue after signing a waiver is questionable itself. Insurance rates for tracks in the area will probably increase in price.

There's a difference between an obstacle being the cause of an injury and negligent drop that is 30 feet tall even being near the track. That is asinine and unnecessary.

Good race tech rant. Lots of spineless anonymous idiots out there dumping on a racer who isn't doing well or crapping on the broadcast like it's the worst thing they've watched. It isn't. Not even close. Hell, 75% of the time I'm not even paying attention to what the people are saying during the race. I'm focused on the position board, time in the moto, gaps, and what I see on the screen. I never needed someone to entertain me beyond the race itself.
