Poron has now been widely used among mousepads, more and more come out with a poron base now!

for control / balanced pads it might be a thing if u wanna press into the pad, but for speed pads you rly don't need and don't want that thing, all the pads i have have standard rubber base and it's very good, sticky, and the glide is consistent.

@@Dragon-mv6vy very true. poron for me doesnt work at all, actually i hate it ingame. it is obvious that introducing a soft inconsistent base is not a good idea. i always noticed a performance increase after switching to stiff/hard pads

artisan poron is protected but there are other jp porons like the one used in energon, just not quite as good.

I've seen that in other videos you discuss that we've maybe reached as far as we can go with mouse optimization and the next level for input will maybe be something like a drawing pad but have you ever considered it could be fingertip grip with much shorter mice? Have you tried fingertip grip and do you think it could be overall better than claw grip if you use a light a short mouse?

@@Bardolo why don't u make a comparison between speed pads vs control pads in static, this should be a right fir for u, people say that speed pads are worse but i never found any clear difference between the two.

really interested in hearing about that mouse! also, do you feel like you notice a difference between 1k and 4k polling? It's a 0.75ms difference, so it seems like marketing bs + placebo to me.

i play on both on 500hz and 2k, can also play on 4k and 8k wired, on a 240hz monitor there's no difference, but objectively if there's a bit lower input lag then it means it's better.
