The German armed forces have been operating the successful Marder infantry fighting vehicle known as Marten IFV for over 40 years, and it has already begun to show its age.
Not wanting to stay behind other nations’ IFVs, the German army has been slowly replacing it with the Puma, a next-generation vehicle that has proved the perfect companion to Panzer Grenadiers and Leopard tanks.
Equipped with state-of-the-art interchangeable armor plates that can make it as heavy and bulletproof as a Russian T-72 tank, the Puma also lives up to its name by reaching speeds of more than 70 kilometers per hour and striking the enemy from where it least expects it.
Armed with a devastating cannon, machine guns, 360-degree situational awareness, and hunter-killer drone capabilities, its possibilities are endless, and recent news of a joint venture with the German army’s Future Soldier system could also have it controlling the skies…

I would sure as hell take it over a shoulder mounted missile 97% of the time. Leave it up to the Germans to get the sense of a modular coordination system in the field. God help the people that are resisting without a great, and I mean great unconventional guerrilla warfare plan that has some kind of ace up the sleeve from a topographic/geological perspective. Can you say Johnny Weissmuller type Quick Sand? It’s a secret weapon that only us old guys know of, sorta like what real Cowboys and especially Mountain Men that our mothers didn’t protect us from, because they were our recent ancestors who fought to give us our VERY FIRST taste of freedom and real self rule in the Appalachian Mountain Wilderness where we could finally escape the tyranny of the Monarchial murder and being deceived through bribery and corruption as William Wallace found out before they distributed the case to everyone in the country. Just as the same people have lusted after the resources that our continent offers that has made us the Country that we are, but most of all, and no matter how much we have thought that we might have become friends, the perversion of un thwarted power has pulsed in their incestuous blood that has come to take on a life of it’s own. A life that has devolved into the most base part of our cranial matter known to all medical and psychological sciences, and yet after ions of it’s demonstration over and over through the blood of our fathers and sons, and even the ancient practices of abusing our children to the point of having the re-exposure of the most grievous practices publicly exposed, and yet they never pay the same price as the average citizens, weather it’s a Duke and Duchess, or a President like Clinton or his brother who has been masquerading as Hillary for several decades now. This is the genetic explanation of Chelsea! But it is not a laughing matter relative to the British Monarchy (and I love Great Britton and am a descendant) but the British Monarchy, as I was saying before the Clintons diversion, has maintained that Reptilian taste for blood that only the ability to force mass kneeling and obedience that only torture and death ☠️ can enforce, and they and the Rothschilds/Klaus Schwab Billionaire Industrialists along with the complacent Big Pharmaceuticals which wrung $3 BILLION FROM THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH LAST YEAR FOR A MODIFIED SARS2 FLU VIRUS THAT DR DEATH ☠️ FALCHI working hand in hand with patented key to their “vaccine” for 2015 and the genetic virus that doesn’t exist in 1997ish. Look it up. The President of Pfizer admitted it on Fox News Sunday with Maria Bartiromo. Meaning that they created the disease/virus/in theory only, and then created the psychological operations to sell the tonic water/vaccine. The old professor Live free or die! Death ☠️ to all tyrants, all tyrants foreign and domestic!!!!!! The truth will stand before God when the world falls. No Shit.

Again, great video. You always link the modern stuff to their origins. How about the little known actions of the Royal Navy armoured car units during World War 1 or the long lived Rolls Royce armoured car? The Irish Army has a fine example of one. As for the "Puma", I associate that word with German sportswear of the 1980s, mullet haircuts and that country always beating us at football. 👍

@@jansix4287 Something for the "Dark" team to shine a light on is the Royal Navy's use of armoured cars during the opening stages of World War 1, Antwerp and Ostende I think. Then their use against the Ottoman Empire. The Rolls Royce armoured car served up to the 1940s but by then in a second line role. It had an active career in "colonial policing".

btw that was a major bullshit blunder by "Die BILD" Rainbowpress magazine, as they mixed the Puma safety guidlines with Bundeswehr Office Safe Workplace Guidlines, from where the safety for pregnant women part came. While the Puma is more modern than other IFVs, it's by no means perfect or actually modern. It has black&white screens with prehistoric software for example. What they should do is a Puma 2.0 with the Mantis 35mm airburst CIWS gun/turret. Both IFV and anti air. Because if Ukraine has shown one thing, it's that you need anti air protection everywhere and at all times. And then put either 4 Javelin or 4 Stinger missiles on there. Because you need those too.

@2.Cuzzzz
@2.Cuzzzz Жыл бұрын
@@jonny2954 I see you like the Puma so here's a hole novel on why the Puma is shit and the CV90 is the New viking beast of the 21st century. Let's begin. The Puma (A) weighs 31,4 tons meanwhile the more modern version of it weighs 43 tons. The latest CV90 version weighs 37 tons, so basiclly 6 tons more to brag about. The CV90 is/was designed to take on the cold Swedish winters with rough terrain it needed to be able to drive though. The Puma on the other hand have those BIG German field's with some flowers being a direct threat to it's moverablity. I mean if the Finns use the CV90 it got to have good moverablity! The main gun on the Puma is a Rheinmetall 30 mm MK 30-2/ABM (Air Burst Munitions) autocannon, which has a rate of fire of 200 rounds per minute and an effective range of 3,000 m. This is a TINY gun compeard to the CV90s mighty 40MM bofors that has more POWER and can there for shoot longer and hit harder. A big problem with the Puma is that when the mag is empty it would force the Puma off the battlefield to reload the unmanned turret. This is not a Problem in the CV90. The only user of the Puma is Germany ofc and Croatia, but that's it. Meanwhile the CV90 (ahh a long list ) is used by Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and The Netherlands. So the CV90 is being used more, because of a simple argument, it works and it has been proven to work, Both Danish and Swedish freedom forces used it to fight the Talibans in Afghanistan. But it's first use was by the Swedish UN forces in Liberia 2004, where 13 Stridsfordon 9040C were deployed. In February 2010, Denmark sent ten CV9035DKs to Afghanistan in order to bolster their contingent in Helmand Province. The Danish contingent had suffered numerous casualties since they began operations in the province in the autumn of 2006. In the Helmand Province. By April 2010, two of the ten vehicles had been hit with IEDs, in both cases protecting the crew and passengers from personal injury .SO its COMBAT PROVEN, something the Puma could only dream about being. The cv90 does also come in different versions, there is the cv9030, cv9035, cv90120-t, cv90 CZ, cv90 CZr, the Armadillo, CV90RWS STING, CV90RWS Multi BK, CV90 MkIV and CV9035NL MLU. The puma only comes in 2 versions as of this moment. To conclued all of this, The cv90 is combat proven, the cv90 comes in all different versions, there is more Countries using the cv90. It weighs 37 tons. It's a IFV..... The Puma on the other hand is only used by Germany and Croatia, it has not yet been in combat, It weighs 43 tons (newest) and is also a IFV. Im not trying to insult anyone or be unfriendly, And in my original statement i claimed that the CV90 weighs more and it Clearly doesn't, but i also said that "" cv90 has more armor then the Puma for sure"", that for sure can both mean im sure OR im not sure on this but i gotta be right. So i was NOT stating it like it was a fact. The Cv90 looks more bulked compeard to the Puma and that is why i thought it weight more/armor. Just wanted to point that out. Anywaysss have a good one :)
@jonny2954
@jonny2954 Жыл бұрын
@@2.Cuzzzz You might have choosen the wrong person to do this with lol "The Puma (A) weighs 31,4 tons meanwhile the more modern version of it weighs 43 tons" The 43 ton version is not more modern. They were developed at the same time. In fact, the 31 ton version isn't really a "version" at all, it's just the 43 ton version with the side armor modules removed for rail and air transport by the A400M military aircraft. The 43 ton version is standard, the Puma will not enter battle with the side armor modules removed. For weight-protection ratio, there is more to take into consideration. The CV90 was developed in a time where composite armor was not the standard on IFVs, the first versions of the CV90 relied on steel armor only. Later versions retrofitted composite armor on top of the steel armor as an afterthought. The Puma on the other hand was developed to use composite armor as it main method of passive protection from the very beginning. Means, unlike the armor steel hull with composite bolted on, the Puma uses a much lighter construction steel hull, which saves weight on steel to create weight reserves that can be used on more composite armor. Less steel, more composite. Why? Easy: Steel armor has a much lower weight efficency than composite armor. In case of the Puma, the used AMAP-B and SC composite armor has a 5-6 and 8-10 times higher weight efficency than steel armor against kinetic energy and shaped charge threats respectively. While later CV90 variants also use the same composite armor as mentioned above, they use much less of it because they still retain the heavy armor steel hull underneath, lowering the weight-protection ratio in comparison to the Puma. Thanks to the unmanned turret the Puma also has a smaller protected volume than the CV90. Reduced protected volume results in less external surface that needs to be armored. Meaning Puma has less surface to cover with armor, allowing it to make the armor thicker at the same total weight. "This is a TINY gun compeard to the CV90 mighty 40MM bofors that has more POWER and can there for shoot longer and hit harder" Except that's not the point of a IFV gun. It's the point of a MBT gun. Sweden is the only nation that opted for the 40 mm gun on the CV90 because of their doctrine. They wanted to be able to penetrate the sides of older soviet-era MBTs with the autocannon, and didn't want to mount ATGM. The problem with this is the 40 mm is now unable to penetrate the sides of more modern or upgraded russian tanks, providing little to no benefit over a smaller caliber autocannon. Actually, there are more disadvantages with the caliber now, that's why every other CV90 user nation has decided against the 40 mm in favor of either 30 or 35 mm. Because the bigger the round, the less rounds can be stored: CV9040: 24 rounds ready to fire (three 8-round clips), needs to be manually reloaded in 8-round clips from a 24 round ready rack in the turret, total of 234 on the vehicle. CV9035: 70 rounds ready to fire (two 35-round belts), belt fed, total of 203 rounds on the vehicle CV9030: 160 rounds ready to fire (two 80 round belts), belt fed, total of 400 rounds on the vehicle Puma: 200 rounds ready to fire (mission variable KE to ABM load, usally 120/80), total of 400 rounds on the vehicle Nowadays customer tend to go for a 30/35 mm +ATGM combination, the autocannon against dismounted targets and light armored vehicles, the ATGM against heavy armored targets. "The only user of the Puma is Germany ofc and Croatia" Croatioa does not operate Puma IFVs. Germany is the only user of the Puma, and it will likely remain that way. Not because the Puma is bad, but it was tailored to very specific requirements of the German Army which most other nations do not share. German mechanised infantry works in smaller teams in closer cooperation with their vehicles, that's also why the German Army demanded a higher than usual protection level for an IFV. "So the CV90 is being used more, because of a simple argument, it works and it has been proven to work" The CV90 has also been around for two decades longer than the Puma. Also, popularity does not make a vehicle better. The BMP-2 is used by more than twice as much nations than the CV90. Does that make the BMP-2 a better vehicle? I don't think so. "The cv90 does also come in different versions" As stated before, because it has been in service for 2 decades longer. Also the German military utilizes the Leopard 1/2 hulls as a platform for support vehicles, not a IFV hull. Also protection levels aren't as secret as you think. You can literally look them up on the manufacturers websites. The latest CV90 MK IV meets STANAG 4569 level 6 frontally and 5/5+ on the sides, the Puma exceeds level 6 (the scale ends at 6) frontally and meets 5/5+ at the sides aswell, but in the 31 ton config. The 43 ton config adds another 12 tons of composite armor, bringing the sides to a equivalent to the front armor exceeding level 6 aswell.
