The old Transcrete America I ran p60 size had all hydraulic outriggers. I always put them all down, for long pushes of hose for washout I’d unhook and drop my front end almost to floor 👍🏽👍🏽

That’s a nice feature. We have a Schwing high-rise pump which has hydraulic outriggers at each corner and it makes things much easier. It’s a bit of a dick-around drop the third outrigger on this unit.

Good job on this one! My coyote ears flew up when I seen the primer come out inside the forms. Are their manual valves incase that computer acts up?
@canadianconcretepumper19796 ай бұрын
Yeah, they just skim it around in the gravel base. The pool bottom is about 8” deep in this area, so no harm/no foul. And yes, there are manual valves on this one: they’ve actually simplified the operation of them for these newer models. I go over them briefly in my review video of this pump. Let me dig up the link to that one.

We have a vsp 70 I don’t run it often but the pump always runs nice but the ram truck is questionable at best most days it’s always something with it
@canadianconcretepumper19796 ай бұрын
So you’re most definitely not the first person which I’ve heard that same sentiment from. I would LOVE to see a VSP pump unit mounted to one of these little NRR Isuzu’s.

do you guys have issues pumping from long ranges? my boss has a 1004 and it seems like the controller disconnects. definitely would have disconnected in this pour and would have to sit where you put the pumper caddy at
@canadianconcretepumper19796 ай бұрын
Definitely sounds like something funky is going on with yours. We’ve seen great results in terms of range with this Putz/HBC transmitter. A job I posted a few weeks ago we were 350’ from the pump unit and about 50’ below grade. Never dropped out once. Perhaps an antenna or grounding issue???

where do you get the rear end safety rubber covers from?
@canadianconcretepumper19796 ай бұрын
So we actually build them in-house using heavy conveyer belting. One of these days when we’re putting one together in the shop I’ll make a vid.

It looks like a complete unit what would it to cut off the hitch and wheels and weld it to the bed ( of ur 2axle truck with water tank and water hose ) ?
@canadianconcretepumper19796 ай бұрын
To truck mount these units you really want them built on a skid from factory. Doing so allows for angling the drive cylinders in relation to the rest of the pump unit as such that they clear the drive axles of the chassis and the hopper still sits as low as possible. If you’ve ever noticed that a good amount of truck mounted units have the hopper sitting a mile in the air, and/or overhangs the drive axle by a mile, it’s because they likely just took a standard trailer setup and dropped it onto a truck. Trust me though, we have definitely been thinking of if there’s a feasible way to do with this pump unit exactly what you mention. 😁😁😁

I drop the front leg. I'm no expert, but any movement I can keep off my truck or equipment is saving me *some* amount of wear and tear. Takes me 2 seconds, why the heck not. Maybe one day when I'm rich ill just leave it hooked up! ;)
@user-vp6vu8xl1c6 ай бұрын
Also---- My pump is a single axle, and I really wince every time I see that thing shake.
@canadianconcretepumper19796 ай бұрын
I tend to agree with you. The third leg on this unit is a bit of a dick-around, but definitely stabilized the machine and keeps all that surge away from the truck chassis.

Completely agree. For what we do primarily, I city pump is most definitely the way to go.
