Thank you for sharing your extreme empathy for animals, AJ. I thought I was alone and abnormal in my very strong feelings towards animals. I will not, CANNOT watch documentaries or footage of animal farming because I know it would leave me irreversibly traumatized. Reading accounts of and seeing a few photos of factory farming was enough to instantly turn me from vegetarian to vegan.

Wow I really needed to hear that email from Sherrie. I stumble all the time because I don't really have excess weight to lose. So like everyone I make excuses....But I really want the calm and stable mind. Thank you Chef AJ for reading that out 👍

Chef AJ, These muffins turned out great! I used applesauce in place of the date paste. My oven temperature was correct. I found that the muffins do need to stay in the oven for the entire bake time or they will remain wet in the center. Thanks, 😊 Shirley

This is the only diet that allows you to get back on the program with no pain. I have tried a lot of diets, and all others lead to full failure and gaining even more weight.

I’m not overweight and don’t want to give up healthy, high mineral salt. What is UWL approved? Something weight loss? (I’m new to AJ and started a WFPBD about 6 weeks ago-not for weight loss-I took the 21 day vegan challenge and found WFPBD.). I am just in it for saving the animals, the planet and good health (in that order).

Is there any option of substituting the GF oats for cooked millet or cooked quinoa?
@sandracarli11106 жыл бұрын
Apples release ethylene gas which act to quick ripening the other fruit (the banana). Bloating happens because of food combination: food containing refined sugar or a lot of dried fruits with food like salads and legumes. Another reason I found out is eating when the digestion is still not complete (grazing through the day...).

Impressive getting dinner, including dessert, prepared in 10 minutes! Handy that the Instapot and the airfryer and possibly the oven turn themselves off. This is fast and easy food. Where I lived in far north tropical Australia our water supply was "iffy" and occasionally caused upset stomach. We were all recommended to follow a BRAT diet when this happened until the upset was gone. BRAT stands for bananas, rice, apples and toast. So it's true that rice settles your digestion somehow.

I love watching your videos I've been eating raw vegan, high fruit on and off for a couple of years but can't stick with it unless I eat a lot of dates!! And seem to be concerned on teeth and weight from dates. I got into the diet to help fibromyalgia. Would cooked pots work better than tons of dates in your opinion? Thank you

AJ I'm the same way with rice! And also quinoa and oats! I think it's something about the small texture and mouth feel. I actually get a pleasure out of eating cauliflower rice but it's not as "addictive" feeling as real rice. But besides overeating I avoid grains now for digestive reasons. I'd love to know if there's a chemical reason why grains feel addictive to some people.

Hi Chef AJ thank you for posting these videos much appreciated. I was wondering if you could answer my question I have come from a past of 13 years of binge eating and bulimia I am now 4 months into a starch based diet and free from both binge eating and bulimia. However I have been diagnosed with chronic sinusitis and indoor allergies I have been told to take antihistamines but I am worried about the weight gain as they are renowned for it I finally feel I have things under control in regards to eating and am worried about taking the medication as it might cause weight gain. Do you have any advice about taking medication what is your opinion thank you xxx

If you eat veggies first, can you put fruit on the oats? Pretty bland without that. And what flavoring on the veggies?
@abbiejaye70195 жыл бұрын
You can but I don't recommend rolled oats. I recommend the whole grain, the oat groat. rolled oats are too much like flour. If you want to lose weight I recommend other starches like beans or sweet potatoes or winter squashes.
@lucillefemine5 жыл бұрын
@@abbiejaye7019 Ok, great. Yes, going to buy the groat. And I love beans and sweet potatoes. Thanks very much :)

The people who get offended by the smell of broccoli truly can't be helped... That veggie doesn't even smell bad. Personally, I don't even have a problem when other people eat onions or garlic next to me.

@The_Red_Pill__6 жыл бұрын
I instantly thought of the fumes as well. As AJ is eating they are spraying!!! WTH! They should not be spraying when anyone is eating. And they should get a natural spray-like essential oils in purified water.
